Contribution -013DR1 A.S0008-B v2.0 PDF was approved for 15-Day Steering Committee review and publication, following a motion made by David Ott (Qualcomm) and a second by Nancy Lee (Alcatel-Lucent). Contribution -014DR1 A.S0009-B v2.0 was approved for 15-Day Steering Committee review and publication, following a motion made by David Ott (Qualcomm) and a second by George Turnipseed (Sprint). The Chair expressed special thanks, in particular, to David Ott (the V&V Ad Hoc Chair) and Roger Edwards (Professional Editor) for their organization and hard work on these documents. 7b. HRPD IOS Rev. C v2.0 V&V Resolution, Pre-Publication Contributions A and -031 represent Post-V&V Resolution texts of A.S0008-C v2.0 and A.S0009-C v2.0. TSG-A participants are asked to review these documents and provide any additional comments via exploder, so that they can be approved for 15-Day Steering Committee Review and Publication at a January 5, 2009 Interim Plenary conference call and -031 are Carried Forward. A A and -032B Professional Editor Notes was presented For Information. 8. New Business 8a. Chair, Vice Chair Elections George Turnipseed of Sprint was approved to serve the term as TSG-A Chair, following a nomination by Mike Dolan of Alcatel-Lucent and no objection from TSG-A participants. Mr. Turnipseed will provide his letter of support in hard copy format to the Secretariat. Contribution A represents the letter of support for Zhao Xiaowu (Frankle) of ZTE Corporation to serve as the CCSA TSG-A Vice Chair representative for the term, and he was approved without objection. Contribution A represents the letter of support for Bill Semper of Samsung to serve as the TTA TSG-A Vice Chair representative for the term, and he was approved without objection. An opening is still available for ARIB/TTC to provide a Vice Chair; however, no candidates were brought forward at this time. The Secretariat and the Chair thank all TSG-A participants for their continued support. 8b. A.S v1.0 E-UTRAN-eHRPD V&V Comment Collection Contributions A , -016, -019, -020, -021, -022, -023, -024, -026, and -028 represent V&V comments on A.S v1.0 submitted by Samsung, Qualcomm, the Secretariat, Hitachi, Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel, ZTE Corporation, KDDI, Motorola, and Huawei, respectively. All V&V comments were remanded to the V&V Ad Hoc, to be chaired by Yousuke Takahashi of Hitachi.
