Belw are the accreditatin requirements fr press and industry analysts fr 4YFN. This will nt give access t MWC19 Barcelna and a separate applicatin shuld be made at Yu will need t cmplete the nline accreditatin applicatin and prvide r uplad supprting materials as indicated in the frm. s frm yur editr t supprt yur applicatin, if required, shuld als be sent t pressregistratin@4yfn.cm Please review these accreditatin requirements carefully befre cmpleting the applicatin. The accreditatin criteria assume that applicants are full-time in-huse jurnalists, freelancers under specific assignment r industry analysts, and that jurnalism and/r industry research is the applicant s main jb. Accreditatin will nt be granted t: Academics, accunt representatives, cntent managers, editrial management, engineers, financial analysts, general managers, marketing executives, public relatins representatives, publishers, sales executives, scial media managers, students etc.; Price cmparisn sites, persnal website writers, fan sites, designers, editrs and creatrs; Facebk r Twitter pages/accunts, persnal blgs, cmmunities, frums and user grups; Industry cnsultants and cnsultancy firms; Expert cntributrs t media utlets whse main day-t-day rle is nt jurnalism; Editrial r business representatives assciated with industry trade grups, assciatins r cmpany-partnered/spnsred websites; and Anyne whse principal purpse fr attending 4YFN is, in ur judgment, fr reasns ther than cvering the event as wrking news media r an industry analyst. Please nte that we d nt discuss an applicatin status with third parties, nly with the applicant themselves. Accreditatin Requirements PRINT AND NEWSWIRE REPORTERS: Required: A cpy f the masthead frm a current issue f yur publicatin r a link t yur publicatin s website that shws yur name listed as part f the reprting team. Required: 4-6 bylined articles relating t the technlgy industry (published within the last three mnths) r evidence f regular reprting/writing ver the past 6 mnths. Required: We may als require an frm yur editr, frm the cmpany address, stating that yu will be cvering 4YFN fr the publicatin/utlet, shuld we nt be able t clearly establish yur accreditatin status.

ONLINE MEDIA Required: A link t a current page f yur nline publicatin, blg r pdcast with yur name and title appearing in an editrial capacity. Required: 5-6 bylined articles relating t the technlgy industry (published within the last three mnths). Required: We may als require an frm yur editr, frm the cmpany address, stating that yu will be cvering 4YFN fr the publicatin/utlet, shuld we nt be able t clearly establish yur accreditatin status. Required: Blggers must demnstrate evidence f regular (at least 3-4 entries per week), current writing related t the technlgy industry. Required: Pdcasters Required: Online media must als prvide a recent mnthly traffic reprt frm an external demgraphic tl (like Ggle Analytics), verifying the nline publicatin r blg gets 5,000 r mre unique mnthly visitrs. The site must be previusly established, independent and regularly updated with riginal and current technlgy industry news. Please nte: A press card alne will nt be accepted as press credentials; Cpy/cntent editrs, publishers and nn-editrial executives r wners d nt qualify fr a press/industry analyst pass; Websites must pst riginal, dated, industry-related news (at least 3-4 times per week). CONTENT CREATORS Only YuTube channels that meet the belw criteria will be cnsidered fr accreditatin t receive a press / industry analyst pass fr 4YFN. Required: A link t yur YuTube channel with yur name appearing in a cntent creatin capacity. Required: At least 4-5 vides relating t the technlgy industry (psted within the last three mnths). Required: Cntent creatrs must demnstrate regular psting f cntent (at least 2-3 vides per week).

Crprate vides, spnsred vides and cntest/giveaway vides d nt qualify as relevant supprting cntent BROADCAST JOURNALISTS AND FILM CREWS Each member f a bradcast crew must register separately and prvide the fllwing material: Bradcast jurnalists Required: A cpy f yur business card with name, editrial title and media utlet lg r the link t yur bradcast utlet website with yur name listed as a member f the editrial team. Required: Evidence f regular presenting/reprting (links t bradcast cverage with date/time stamp). Required: We may als require an frm a prducer/editr frm the bradcast media, frm the cmpany address, stating that yu will be cvering 4YFN fr the utlet, shuld we nt be able t clearly establish yur accreditatin status. Film crews Required: A cpy f yur business card with name, editrial title and media utlet lg r the link t yur bradcast utlet website with yur name listed as a member f the editrial team. Required: An frm a prducer/editr frm the bradcast media, frm the cmpany address, stating that yu will be cvering 4YFN fr the utlet. Required: Applicatins frm prductin cmpanies must be supprted by an frm the bradcast media fr which they are wrking. The must be frm a senir editr/prducer frm the bradcast media, frm the bradcast media cmpany address. The shuld be sent t pressregistratin@4yfn.cm. FREELANCE REPORTERS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS Required: An frm the editr r senir member f the editrial team f a recgnised media utlet, frm the cmpany address, stating yu are cvering 4YFN n assignment fr their utlet/publicatin. Required: Prf f regular and nging freelance jurnalism activity (published within the last three mnths).

INDUSTRY ANALYSTS AND MARKET RESEARCH Required: A cpy f a mbile industry/market research reprt frm the past fur mnths listing yu as a cntributr with yur name, title and cmpany name. Reprts must be made independently and nt cmmissined by exhibiting cmpanies. Required: Cpy f r URL fr an industry-related article published within the past three mnths with yur byline. Required: Cpy f r URL fr an industry-related article published within the past three mnths quting yu as an industry analyst. Please nte: Financial analysts and industry cnsultants d nt qualify as industry analysts. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Please nte we may ask/lk fr additinal dcumentatin in rder t cnfirm yur press/industry analyst accreditatin. In cases where an editr is prviding endrsement fr an applicant wh may be cvering 4YFN n assignment: The signatry must serve in an editrial capacity (we will nt accept assignment letters/ s frm publishers r executives in marketing, sales, PR, etc.); The assignment letter/ must be sent directly by the signatry, using his/her cmpany address; and Knwingly prviding a letter/ f assignment fr r endrsing a nn-qualified applicant can result in an entire rganisatin lsing accreditatin fr 4YFN. ACCREDITATION APPROVAL Accreditatin is reserved fr wrking members f the media and industry analysts nly. This includes editrs, reprters, prducers, camera crews, still phtgraphers and industry analysts. The GSMA reserves the right t deny an applicant a press/industry analyst pass if sufficient credentials are nt prvided. The GSMA reserves the right t limit the number f attendees per utlet/rganisatin. The GSMA reserves the right t mdify this plicy withut public ntice and t revke previusly issued 4YFN accreditatin/registratin at any time. If yu d nt qualify as accredited press r an industry analyst in any f the abve categries, then yu shuld nt apply using the Press/Industry Analyst accreditatin prcess.
