All subject matter n Web Pages shuld relate t curriculum, instructin, schlauthrized activities, and general infrmatin relating t the schl district buildings. 2. The students may (with parent permissin) participate in the develpment and maintenance f the web page, but the rle f the classrm teacher is t evaluate the infrmatin t be included n the page befre it is submitted t the building webmaster fr apprval. 7. Teachers may create and maintain webpages nt hsted n the district s webserver (i.e. TeacherWeb) that are linked frm building r department web pages as lng as the pages adhere t the same standards and plicies as USD 373 created web pages. A disclaimer must be included n all pages with links t pages nt hsted by USD 373. The district is nt respnsible fr cntent nt cntained n the district webserver. 8. Schl spnsred student rganizatins may have hmepages linked t the building s web page. The USD 373 webmaster and the rganizatin s staff spnsr must apprve cntent f these pages. It is the respnsibility f the rganizatin t update and maintain the infrmatin. 9. Links t persnal hmepages fr staff and students r hme pages fr ther individuals r rganizatins nt directly affiliated with the schl district are nt permitted. 10. Building/department head s cntact infrmatin shuld be listed n hme page alng with an address & phne number. 2. The schl district lg and attendance center s full name. 3. A link t attendance center s main page as well as ther majr sectins f the site must be placed n every web page. This is imprtant in helping visitrs navigate the website. 4. A unique name/title fr each page (i.e. Staff , Parent Teacher Organizatin, etc.) Nte: The page title is different than the page s file name (i.e. index.htm) 5. Fter infrmatin at the bttm f each page shuld cntain date f page creatin/update & district cntact infrmatin. 6. Cpyright ntice if such material is being psted. 7. Link back t district hme page. Additinal Cntent fr Schl Websites In additin t the page identificatin infrmatin listed in the sectin abve, schl websites shuld have the fllwing cntent/infrmatin: 1. Link t schl/dept.-specific calendar (Dynacal). 2. 4 Publishing Student/Staff Wrk, Names, and Pictures Staff r student wrk will be permitted fr web page publishing as lng as it relates t class prjects, curse wrk, r ther-schl related activity. Use f student names and/r individual pictures with identifying captins are acceptable with the Enrllment Authrizatin Frm having been signed and n file with the attendance center f the student. All identificatins must adhere t the apprved items listed within the release frm. N dcument published may include any infrmatin that identifies the physical lcatin f a student r staff member at a given time, ther than attendance at a particular schl, r participatin in activities. (This specifically precludes the publishing f hme address, phne numbers, names f family members r ther students, r any ther questinable infrmatin.) Outside Surce Material Pstings Phts, art, and text cpied frm web pages nt hsted by USD 373 shuld be cnsidered under cpyright unless a clear statement f Public Dmain is available. N illegal materials will be permitted fr re-publicatin n a lcal netwrk r web site affiliated with USD 373. Permissin shuld be sught fr use f cpyrighted materials.
