5 Student Council will be collecting NEW toys for RISD s Dobie Primary School, serving students in pre-k and kindergarten from November 26 th December 6 th. Donation boxes will be located at each classroom and near the office. 6 Holiday Coin Drive For Custodians and Cafeteria workers Starting Monday, December 3, Canyon Creek Elementary will collect coins and cash in honor of our three dedicated custodians (Sophie, Patrick and Ann) and our cafeteria manager, Araceli and her two wonderful helpers (Sacorro and Cathryn). Every year we give a monetary gift to these unsung heroes to help make their holidays a little brighter. We will accept donations through Dec. 14 th. Each homeroom class will have a collection jar or you may turn in money to the office as well. Thank you for your generosity!

9 Design Art for your Directory ***Return by December 7th The Canyon Creek PTA is asking for students to submit a drawing to be used to decorate the inside front cover, the back cover, and other pages of our directory. The sixth graders will be submitting drawings for the cover. The theme this year is: Cougar Pride In the space below, draw a picture that represents your interpretation of this theme. Be sure to sign your name. Artwork should be in marker or pen as this will copy the best. Return your drawing to your child s teacher by December 7th. Thank you for your support.
