5 III. RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES Type of Recruitment Initiative (Menu Selection) Brief Description of Activity 1 Internship Program (4) Our SEU hosts an on-going and robust internship program. Information about our Program is provided in the Jobs section on each of our station websites. During this, our SEU hosted twenty (20) student interns from schools such as Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts (13), Michigan State University(1), Spring Arbor University(1), Oakland University(1), Oakland CC(1), Wayne State University(2) and University of Southern California (1) as follows: 2 interns in the IT Department, interns in the digital/website department under the supervision of our Webmaster; 11 interns in the WDVD Programming department under the supervision of our On-Air Talent; 2 interns in the WJR Programming department under the supervision of our Producers; 2 Job Fair Participation 5 interns in the WDVD/WDRQ Promotions department under the supervision of our Promotions Director. On May 29, 2014, our SEU participated in a job fair sponsored by JobFairGiant.com held at The Met Hotel, Troy MI. SEU representatives occupied a booth and spoke with attendees about career opportunities in broadcasting as well as job openings within the SEU. SEU participants included our General Sales Manager.
