1 PowerPoint PowerPoint will be used for discussion slides. It can also be used for the title and end slides. You can not directly use PowerPoint in your movie, you must export the slides as images (pictures) before using them in the movie. PowerPoint is also an extremely good tool to organize your thought for the movie. I recommend that you use PowerPoint to compose the script for your video and audio presentations. You should use at least 28 pt. font and not use color combinations that make it hard to read. Remember when you complete the entire project you will have a video that is to be viewed on a 320 x 240 pixel screen of about 3 inches. This module uses PowerPoint The same functions can be done in earlier versions of PowerPoint. Do not use any transitions on your slides since they will be used as static images. Transitions between the video and slides will be done in the movie editing software. Click on the link to begin this presentation if viewing online. Then click the first image. When you use this video after your first viewing you may click on any image to jump to the location you need assistance. 3 Step 1: Create a Presentation Create a Presentation It assumes that you have created a PowerPoint presentation of what you wish to discuss in your video. As you can see to the left a PowerPoint presentation has been created and now we want to save the presentation as a group of individual images that can be inserted into the video in the appropriate place. Click on the circular button on the upper left corner.

4 Step 2: Save As Saving type to be chosen Click on the Save As Icon so that you can select the location and picture saving of your PowerPoint slides.

5 Step 3: Saving Saving Type You need to change the saving type to a picture format. You will also need to select the location of saving the pictures.

6 Step 4: Saving 2 Type of image It is suggested that you save the presentation as a jpeg.

7 Step 5: Saving 3 You can save only a single slide, but in general you will save You will want to save every slide in your presentation.

8 Step 6: Saving Details Details of the Save This dialogue window tells you the location of your saved slides (just in case you forgot).

9 Step 7: Final Result Results of operation Using Explorer you can observe your slides. In your video editor you will import your slides to be used in your podcast.
