2 2 MAIN FEATURES OF PLC A. LOG IN AT THE MAIN PAGE OF CIDS When you log in at the main page of CIDS will be displayed as below: By default, the page is in English. You may choose your preferred language on the top of the page if available. Clik at PLC on the main menu. You may click on What is PLC? or How to access PLC? to access information or Click at PLC Homepage to register

3 3 B. REGISTRATION Click Register (arrow) for first time user. Click Register (arrow) for first time user. You my use this QR Code to register from your mobile You my use this QR Code to login PLC from your mobile Fill up all the required fields.

4 4 Click Complete Sign Up (arrow) to complete your registration. You will get your ID through your to log in to the system. After login it will display as below: Click Join Community if you wish to join any community listed. You may create your own community from Private Community and follow instructions.

5 5 C. EDIT YOUR PROFILE To access your personal profile: Click My Profile (arrow) You may Edit your profile or Change Profile Photo There is a chat room ready for you to chat with others. You may explore other features listed according to their functions: o Communities choose categories of community o Messages send messages to other members o Members communities choose communities for communication (forum, video conference etc.) o Send Invites inviting new members to join the community o BuddyDrive Upload shared material (limited file size) o Video Chat make an appointment for virtual video chat with specific members. He will be notified by that link to the video chat room either by PC, or mobile. o Video Conference communication with any members join in the video conference room. o Community Forum discussion with the members of the group (you need to select the community to access the forum)

7 7 (ii) Chat rooms Click Public Chatroom on the main chat room to chat with all active users. Click Specific name to chat privately. Mouse over the respective symbols to read the information. Click respective symbols to include an emoticon, picture, to change color and file attachment. Click right to perform respective action. (iii) Video Chat Click Video Chat to view the invitation to the video chat with other users. Click Enter Chat to activate video chatting. Video Chat room will be displayed. The user picture is on the left screen while the guest picture is on the right screen. You may also write messages at the bottom of the screen and click SEND to communicate with your guest.

8 8 Adjust video chat room technical features located on the top left-hand corner to get a maximum performance. The quality of the picture and sound depending on the strength of the Wifi signal of your location and your guest location. Procedures for Invitation to Video Chat Click Invite to video Chat or Video Chat to have a video chat session with the member selected. Make an appointment by writing on Subject and click Date and Time. Click Submit.

9 9 (iv) Video Conference This feature allows multiple users to participate in the video conference. Users may also communicate by writing in the space provided. Users may also upload materials E.
