6 Bus In-Vehicle Communications Objectives Use of broadband 4G LTE modems to provide realtime communications between systems on the vehicle with DART centers, payment processing vendors and DART Police New bus delivery schedule : Arboc: Starting 8/18/12 and ending on 12/31/12 for total of 128 vehicles NABI: Starting 8/24/12 and ending on Dec, 2015 for total of 485 vehicles Associated systems: Camera real-time view, tagged video download,mobile Ticketing, infotainment, APC, Smart Drive and Customer WiFi systems Adding 4G LTE to revenue vehicles will cost additional $275,000 annually
