1 Logging on to Office 365 Access Office 365 from anywhere, on any device, at any time! : Go to and click on the Office 365 Logo. : To login, use your school computer credentials. You will need to add your school s postfix to your username to login to all Office 365 services on all devices. To find your school s postfix, see the table on the following page.

Your Office 365 login would now become This is also the same as what your new address will now be. Your password is also the same as the one you use to login to the computers.

3 Office 365 for Schools Logging into Office 365 for the first time will take you to the Office 365 welcome page. Along the top there are several features: Outlook this is where you can send and receive and chat with your friends at school Calendar setup alerts such as homework alerts or school events. People fellow students and teachers in your school can be found here. Newsfeed provides a social area, like Facebook, where you can share thoughts and ideas with your peers and teachers. This area is viewable to all members of your school community by default. OneDrive store your school assignments and access them from any place. You can even edit your Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents from any device including Apple and Android devices. Sites websites that are controlled by your school s principal o Team Site a public facing website that requires you to login to view o Public Site a public facing website that allows anyone to view without a username and password

4 Create a new Document Login to Office 365 and go to OneDrive. Create a new document by clicking on the New button, then choose Word document. Your new document will now open in Word. Begin creating your new document! If you want to change the name of your document, double click on Document (inside the blue box) at the top of the screen then give it a new name such as Book Report. Step 4 When you are finished editing your document simply click on your name (inside the red box) to be taken back to your OneDrive. There is no need to save this is done automatically for you.

5 Share my Document Login to Office 365 and go to OneDrive. Click the checkbox beside the document you want to share. Then click share. The sharing window will popup. Here you can type in your teachers and friends names. Remember to press enter after each name. If you only want them to see what you did and not change anything, select the dropdown and change Can edit to Can view. Then click the Share button to send an . Step 4 (Optional) Share your portfolio with your mom and dad! Just repeat step 3 but this time type in their address. You can turn off the Require sign-in feature if who you are sending the link to does not already have a Microsoft account for things like Skype, Hotmail or Xbox Live.

6 Create My Portfolio Login to Office 365 and go to OneDrive. Create a new Folder by clicking on the New button, then choose New Folder. Give your folder a name such as My Portfolio. Your new folder will now appear. Click on it to open it. Step 4 Open your home folder and select the files you want to place into your portfolio. Drag these files into your web browser and drop inside the box that says Drop Here Once your documents and presentations are uploaded you can share your portfolio with others!

7 Share My Portfolio Login to Office 365 and go to OneDrive. Click the checkbox beside the folder containing your portfolio. Then click share. The sharing window will popup. 8 Access Office 365 Applications on Your Device (Personal) School Computers All school computers already have the latest version of Microsoft Office available. Windows Desktop (On-Demand) These Apps allow you to run Office Apps directly from Office 365 without having to install anything on the computer you are using. This can be great when you are using someone else s computer or a shared computer such as a public library. Apps available: Excel PowerPoint Word Publisher Access To install these Apps login to your OneDrive. On the bottom left side of your screen, click on Use Office On Demand. You will be taken to a screen, like the one below that allows you to click on the individual App that you want to run. When running an App for the first time you may be prompted by your browser. It is important that you allow these to run.

9 Windows or Mac Computers As a student you are eligible for full access to the latest version of the Microsoft Office suite on your home computers. Login to Office 365. Click on the Gear icon, then go to Office 365 Settings. Click on the Software heading. Step 4 On this page you will have the option to install the latest version of Office on your Windows or Mac computer. Depending on whether you have a Windows or Mac computer, you will see a different set of apps. Click Install to begin the download. Mac Windows

10 Step 5 You may be prompted to Save, Run or Open the file. Choose Save. Step 6 Once downloaded, open the file and follow the prompts to install. Step 7 Enjoy the full version of Office! Phone and Tablet Devices Do you have a device that you would like to use the Office 365 with? Follow these steps to bring office to your device! Note that not all features are supported on every device. Login to Office 365. Click on the Gear icon, then go to Office 365 Settings. Click on the Software heading. Step 4 Click Phone & Tablet. Step 5 Select the type of device you are using. Step 6 Follow the instructions to setup and access apps for your device.
