4 Introduction This release supports 2 independent updates that are in addition to the Reckon APS Xcede Sheets April 2018 release. With the publication of A Special Purpose Financial Reporting Framework by CAANZ, there is the requirement to update terminology in the Policy and Compilation report. No template changes are required for this update. An enhancement which provides the ability to insert a sheet into the jobstream, creating a placeholder for external reports. This enhancement will require a template update. For example, a Not-for-Profit entity where the audit report extends beyond 1 page, a placeholder sheet can be inserted defining the number of pages required. IMPORTANT! This is not a complete release of all the sheets. Known Issues Knowledge base article from the Reckon APS Xcede Sheets April 2018 release will continue to advise users of any new known issues as a result of this sheets update. MyAPS Portal Pre-requisites This release is only applicable to users who have installed the Reckon APS Xcede Sheets April 2018 release. IMPORTANT! 5 Policies CAANZ have published A Special Purpose Financial Reporting Framework. The April 2018 Xcede sheets release was based on NZICA s A Special Purpose Framework. Terminology updates within the sheets have been applied to the Policy and Compilation sheets. Reference to NZ GAAP within the sheet has been updated to GAAP for NFP3 Change in Accounting Policies. Where the ledger has PT-Society set to Yes, reference to the authorisation for issue of the report has been amended. Financial Reporting Field references to NZICA will be replaced with CAANZ in a subsequent release. 6 Report Placeholders (2Placeholder1.xlsX - 2Placeholder5.xlsX) 5 blank sheets have been created to be used as placeholders in a jobstream. These sheets provide users the ability to secure page numbers for inserting external reports after the jobstream has generated. 2Index_JobOrder has been enhanced to include these new sheets, with the ability to add the name of the external report. NOTE: Where the placeholder sheets are used with Xcede 9, the name of the external report will not show on the index (2Index) Amendment to the Reckon APS XPA Master Template o o 10 new financial reporting fields to capture the external report name and number of pages for each placeholder report (Maximum of 10 pages each) Placeholder sheets have been merged into the template Report Options Example User defined report headings and the number of placeholder pages are defined in the financial reporting fields. The new placeholder sheets generate blank pages which will need to be discarded and replaced with the client s external reports. Each report can generate up to 10 blank placeholder pages. In the following example, the Audit Report and Statement of Service Performance will be replaced from reports created externally from XPA s jobstream. The placeholder reports can be positioned anywhere in the jobstream. Reckon Limited PAGE 6 OF 8
