4 General Rules 1. The adverts cannot contain automatic forwarding to advertiser s website or any elements downloaded from external servers. 2. The adverts are hosted on INTERIA.PL s server. 3. The adverts cannot use scripts changing the appearance of the browser window, except those forms that contain such an effect by default. 4. The Adverts should not use more than 30% CPU of an average class processor (Intel Pentium 4). 5. The landing URL cannot be longer than 200 characters. 6. The adverts cannot read or modify the cookies from user s computer. 7. The adverts cannot cause any warnings or errors during screening, or in any other way disturb the performance of the website where they are screened. 8. The names of advert files shouldn t contain foreign characters or spaces, the files should be named according to the following pattern: advertiser/campaign_name_type_of_ad_size.filetype e.g.: interiapl_navibox_300x250.swf or type_of_ad_size.filetype e.g.: bar_950x60.swf 9. 8 b) Sponsored Chat The service allows conducting a Chat, in the form of an interview, on CZATeria.interia.pl, with a guest invited by the sponsor. Users can observe and participate in the interview. Duration of the chat: up to 45 minutes. c) Watermark BACKGROUND OPTIONS OTHER : Graphic advert with transparency effect, placed in the background of the chat window. The transparency effect is obligatory. It is not animated or clickable. : up to 10 kb : recommended 128x128 pixels : GIF : white (255, 255, 255 ), at least 95% of pixels should be in the color of the background; the minimal value of RGB components for the pixels other than white is 235 (the darkest possible color is RGB 235,235,235) : alignment - centered, expanded, tiled - screening in all chatrooms and private rooms, - screening in a chosen chatroom and all the private rooms assigned to it - counting pageviews each opening of a room or private room with the background is counted as one pageview. : INTERIA.PL reserves the right to approve the ad before screening. 5. 17 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION: 17. In-Stream VideoAd : A form of advertisement, which allows screening of a television advertising spot before a video played by the user. Depending on the speed of the user's connection, it is displayed in one of the two different qualities allowing for smooth playback. INTERIA.PL converts the delivered source material for screening on the Internet. It is an active form of advertisement, it can be clicked to display the client s website. DURATION : Max 30s. NECESSARY MATERIALS SPOT high quality video file (min. 4000kb/sec) with resolution no lower than 720x576. Any file format. Possible size ratio- 4:3 or 16:9. The file will be converted by INTERIA.PL to two different MP4 files (SQ and HQ) and subsequently sent for the client's approval. DEADLINE FOR PROVIDING MATERIALS 3 workdays before the start of campaign 18. Sponsored Link. LINK STRUCTURE : Text advert which allows placing links to websites at the top of the result list in the Google.interia.pl search engine. : Headline max 25 characters including spaces. Description one line, max 70 characters including spaces. URL max 35 characters 19. Mailing : Mailing addressed to the users of INTERIA.PL s free service. It can be targeted to specific demographics. Scroll Footer : Advertising strip at the bottom of the browser window. The ad remains in its place regardless of scrolling. It can contain text or graphic elements, both static and animated (animated GIF), which scroll horizontally on the strip. The horizontal scrolling of the footer is implemented byinteria.pl. There is an option of choosing the direction of horizontal scrolling (right or left). 26 31. VideoAd : VideoAd An advertisement which allows screening of a television commercial. INTERIA.PL converts the source material for the Internet. The maximum duration of a video clip is 30 seconds. It starts playing when the ad is loaded, but with muted sound (the sound has to be turned on by the user by clicking or rollover). Maximum size of the video is 1 MB (after conversion). The video player has to include STOP and MUTE buttons. STRUCTURE: VideoAd consists of the following ad creations: - main ad (e.g. Billboard) - video (.flv animation) - starting board (graphics file) optional (if it s not provided, the first frame of the video will be used) - end board (graphics file) - optional (if it s not provided, the last frame of the video will be used) SCREENING: AdServer emits the main ad. Buffering time of the video (flv) is selected automatically. At that moment, instead of the video the starting board is visible (saying, for example wait, loading ). After buffering is done, the video is played and afterwads the end board is displayed (saying, for example, if you want to know more, click here ). The boards can simply be the first and last frame of the video. NECESSARY MATERIALS: a) the main ad An ad, created according to the specifications, which contains an area in which the video will be played. b) boards JPG files of the lowest size possible (but optimal quality) c) video AVI file of the best possible quality (up to 30 s.). The AVI file will be converted to FLV by INTERIA.PL and sent for the client s approval. DEADLINE FOR PROVIDING MATERIALS: 5 workdays before the start of the campaign. 32. Watermark (Wallpaper) OTHER : A graphic advertisement with low contrast and transparency (grayscale recommended), located on the margins of the website. The form is not animated or clickable. The graphic element on the ad needs to contain empty space on the margins so that it can be fitted to the website.
