2 Standard IAB & Animated GIFs AD AD AD 300x x x90 We accept JPGs, GIFs, or animated GIFs (3 frames max). File size must not exceed 80kb. We do not accept Flash files. Animated Gifs: Outlook 2007 and later versions do not support animated GIFs. Only a static representation of the GIF image shows, so please ensure that the first frame is sufficient on its own as a static image. All ads with white or partially white backgrounds must use a black 1-pixel border. 728x90 ads will be scaled down to fit on mobile devices. 2

3 Video (Static Frame) Click to view our Mechanism of Action 300x250 The advertisement is placed within the briefing as a JPG or GIF that replicates a chosen frame of the video. User clicks on ad and is taken to a website, hosted by the advertiser, where video is playing. We accept JPGs or GIFs sized at 300x250. File size must not exceed 80kb. A timestamp displaying the length of the video can be included as well. We do not accept Flash files. We can host video assets in some select cases. 3

5 Black Box & ISI CREATIVE BulletinHealthcare understands the unique nature of pharmaceutical advertising, which is why we offer flexible solutions for Black Box warnings, Important Safety Information, and other regulatory requirements. ISI Creative (Top Banner) ISI (Bottom Banner) Black Box warnings can run inside the Creative (Top Banner). We support flexible banner sizes, meaning we can place critical safety information next to content. Click here to see additional ISI link at the bottom of the Creative redirects users to the ISI (Bottom Banner), which is located at the end of the briefing where space is limitless. Creative (Top Banner) Link to multiple online assets (4 max). JPGs or GIFs sized at 466x1000 (max). File size must not exceed 250kb. ISI (Bottom Banner) JPGs or GIFs sized at 466x3640(max). File size must not exceed 250kb. Any display ad units not corresponding to specs given above are only accepted to accommodate for messaging required by regulation, such as ISI and/or Black Box messaging. These ads must contain a ratio of 80:20 of ISI and/or Black Box messaging to creative content. If required by legal, the ISI banner can be attached to the Creative banner instead of linked separately. Anchor links are not supported by all clients. Please note that any unit longer than 1000 pixels in length will be locked into the end of the briefing with no eligibility for fair rotation. 5

11 Does BulletinHealthcare accept HTML5? Yes! but not all HTML5 is created equal. While BulletinHealthcare accepts HTML5, it s important to note that not all platforms support HTML5 in the same way. Below is a quick primer on how different platforms support different formats of HTML5. STATIC IMAGES VIDEO ANIMATION FLASH There s no such thing as an HTML5 image... an image is an image is an image! Static images coded in HTML5 render as standard JPEGs or GIFs in . The image tag and link will work properly in clients. iphone s IOS8, which represents 90% of our mobile opens, does not support HTML5 video in . Because of this, we do not accept HTML5 video files. Workaround: We can host an HTML5 video on a landing page. We ll place a static frame of the video in our briefing with a Play button overlay, so users know they will be redirected to a video. HTML5 uses Javascript to enable animation and other dynamic drawing. Because Javascript is universally blocked by clients due to its potential to create security risks, we do not accept this type of HTML5 ad. Flash isn t part of HTML5, but some advertisers use it as an alternative to HTML5. An increasing number of tech companies, led by Apple, have abandoned Flash and do not allow it to render on their devices. As a result, we do not accept Flash in our briefings. 11

12 advertisement About Competitive Separation & Brand Safety advertisement BulletinHealthcare briefings are delivered via , and typically run four to six pages in length. There are a maximum of three to five advertisement slots available each day, dependent on the briefings selected. The layout of our briefings provides natural separation, as each ad slot is adjacent to different editorial usually with only one advertisement per screen view. Please note that the dynamic nature of the daily news cycle prevents guarantees. In practice, however, BulletinHealthcare s advertisement scheduling process and daily briefing management generally mitigate competitive separation issues. advertisement Brand safety is typically not an issue for BulletinHealthcare, since our association partners demand a high standard of editorial content. However, we are able to perform negative keyword analysis to ensure advertisements do not appear adjacent to certain types of editorial. 12
