4 Home Screen Display After successful Logon, the Home Screen is displayed. Single click on a device and select any of the Home Screen Commands as described below Home Screen Location and History command functions are available as shown below HOME SCREEN COMMAND FUNCTIONS User Guide r2.4 page 2 of 12

5 Home Screen Command Functions >from DEVICES Tab, first select your vehicle/device then any command. Locate Locate your asset in Real-time. The map will display current position within approximately 15 seconds or less. Last Position - with Mini-History Message History Review history of your assets in text/table format Map Last Positions (most often used command for monthly tracking plan users) Click to view the Last Position of your asset(s) on the Map with a MINI-HISTORY displayed below the map, where you can also select and view previous history locations to display on the map at the same time Device Description (Change the vehicle description and icon) DEVICES Tab: Double-click on the device/vehicle in the list, then Select DESCRIPTIONS link, Select EDIT to change name and Icon of your device, click UPDATE when finished. My Login (from MAIN tab) Click to change your account settings such as; change password, change language, or change time-zone for your account Stop Verifier On Selecting this command will Automatically Locate your vehicle/asset when it has been parked for 4 hours. It will repeat this action a total of 8 times. *Provides asset owners an automated location History for Inventory & Recovery use. * Weekly Automatic Location History Weekly AUTOMATIC-LOCATION is performed on each of your Devices and recorded into account history. This does not use tracks from the owners account. Viewing Multiple Assets on Map Select multiple assets by pressing/holding the Ctrl (Key) and Click on item on the devices list, Then Select Last Position to view all selected assets position on the map (also see Map Views and Features) User Guide r2.4 page 3 of 12

6 Map Views and Features Additional Map FEATURES are also available when viewing maps and location information Mapping Icons Print Map Center Map Last Position and Mini-History view The Last Position command button also displays a Mini-History at bottom of map, where more history and a movement Trail can also be viewed on the map Map All Recent Messages Display Traffic Clear Geomarkers from view `` Hybrid and Road Map Views Road = Standard Street View Aerial = Satellite Photo View Hybrid = Satellite Photo with Road Names View All Vehicles/Assets on Map Press/Hold Ctrl (key) and Click multiple items in your Devices list, Select Last Position to view all selected items on map Geomarker Assign Name from Map View Place your mouse over map location and Select Assign Name to create a Geomarker at that location (also see Management Settings) Driving Directions Get Google driving directions Google Map view View location on Google Map User Guide r2.4 page 4 of 12

7 Advanced Toolbar Commands (1) Select device and Click Open TOOLBAR (2) Select the SEND Tab (3) Then Select your Command from the list NOTE: some or all commands may not be available within your account, based on your security profile, device, settings and/or your purchased/assigned tracking plan. Locate Performs the same location function as Locate button on Home Screen. Displays current position on-screen and in history Set Geofence /Clear Geofence Sets/Clears a ½ Mile (0.5 mile) Electronic Fence around the device/asset Current Location, and will notify in history when asset has moved outside of that area. -- an ALERT can also be setup to be Immediately Send Notification to your or Cell phone (also see Configurable Features) History Request Retrieve Location for Specific Date & Time, Including positions that are NOT already listed in account History. The Device stores location data as it travels and can be retrieved up to 90 days in the Past Unlock Door Unlock the Vehicle Door, if Door Unlock installation wiring was setup on your vehicle by installer Disengage Starter / Re-engage Starter Starter-Disable Feature: If installed on your asset/vehicle, this command will be set to Disable the asset where it Cannot be Started until a Re-engage Starter command has been sent Get Odometer Count Command to retrieve Mileage information from the asset. - The initial value is 0 upon first installation. *Odometer/Engine hours: the system can also be setup to Automatically Notify You when the asset has reached a Mileage or Engine hours count. (see Configurable Features) Get Engine Hours Count Command to retrieve Engine Hours information from the asset. The initial value is 0. Connect Ignition wire during installation. *Odometer/Engine hours: the system can also be setup to Automatically Notify You when the asset has reached a Mileage or Engine hours count. (see Configurable Features) Clear All Counters Resets Odometer and Engine hours count to back to a value of 0 Interval Tracking On/Off Turns Auto-Location Tracking ON/OFF. Performs an Auto-Locate of your asset Every 30 minutes Until Turned Off. IMPORTANT: ON-DEMAND Users if you are on an On-Demand Tracking plan, this Interval Tracking feature will use 1 Track from your account pool every 30 minutes until this feature is turned off *Unlimited Tracking plan users do not need to use this setting - Auto-Tracking is already setup User Guide r2.4 page 5 of 12

8 Configurable Features (sets additional parameters) (1) Select your asset/vehicle, Click Open Device TOOLBAR (2) Select the SEND Tab Toolbar Configurable Commands (3) Then Select your Command from the list NOTE: some or more of the commands may not be available within your account, based on your security profile, device, settings and/or your purchased/assigned tracking plan. Geofence Sets the Geofence Size this size value is used when the Set Geofence command is performed (default =0.5 miles) also see Alerts I/O #1,2,3,4 Used to Name the Inputs & Outputs; Alarm-In, Starter-Shutoff, etc. Endpoints Available on Commercial Fleet profiles or upon Consumer Upgrade Plan. Turns ON / OFF Arrival and Departure messages (Start/Stop) Speed Exceeded Sets Excessive Speed Limit (also see Alerts for Real-Time notification) Interval Tracking On-Demand User function Command to set the default Interval Tracking and Duration. The Default is 30 minute intervals and No Limit duration. *Unlimited Users Do Not need to use this function. Towing Alarm Command to Turn ON / OFF Automatic Towing Alerts - Triggers Towing-Alarm when Asset is moving without the ignition/engine running. (also see Alerts) IMPORTANT: MUST CONNECT IGNITION WIRING during installation for this feature, or frequent false alarms WILL OCCUR. EnRoute Time Available on Commercial Fleet profiles. Sets device for Auto-Tracking Intervals; 10 or 30 minutes (also see EnRoute Distance) Engine Time Available on Commercial Fleet profiles. Sets the Interval in which Notification will be sent for Engine-On Hours Battery Low Low Battery Alarm ON/OFF (10.2v). (also see Alerts) Battery Disconnected Set Main Power Disconnected Notification ON/OFF *MUST have Backup Battery installed for this function. Idling Monitor Fleet: Sets Idle Monitor On/Off (engine-running without moving). See ALERTS for Real-time notification EnRoute Distance Available on Commercial Fleet profiles or Consumer Upgrade. Sets device for Auto-Tracking Intervals; 1 mile, 5 miles, or 10 miles (also see EnRoute Time) Odometer Distance Sets the Distance in which Notification will be sent for Mileage traveled (use for Asset Service/Maintenance Reminders) SpaceTime Circle 1 Used to Enable Region Enter/Exit Messages on 1 of your Circle Geomarkers SpaceTime Polygon Used to Enable Region Enter/Exit Messages on 1 of your Polygon Geomarkers Daylight Saving Sets Daylight Saving method for USA, Canada, Mexico User Guide r2.4 page 6 of 12

9 ALERTS to and Cell-Phone Text ALERTS Alerts are used to instantly send and/or text message notifications to cell-phone(s) when events occur, and can be setup for all default messages, or specific message types only. MAIN Tab, Open My Account TOOLBAR, and under the MANAGE Tab, select ALERTS Select NEW (at top of window) Enter or Cell-phone Text information Click CREATE button below entry screen to save. *Repeat the above steps for every or Cell-Phone needed Default Alert Messages include: Maintenance Messages Overspeed Messages Boundary Messages Geofence/Geomarker Messages Low Battery Messages Security Alarm Messages Non-Default Alert Messages: When Alerts are desired for any Non-Default messages, simply create a new Alert and select the specific alert type in the Message Types drop-down list. Stationary Arrival/Departure Configuration Reset Heartbeat *Heartbeat messages are system messages that perform periodic device diagnostics User Guide r2.4 page 7 of 12

10 Service Reminders Odometer Distance setup This command sets the Mileage Distance in which the vehicle will automatically report it has reached the mileage threshold set for service. DEVICES Tab, Select Bus, Open Device TOOLBAR, and select SEND Tab at top of Toolbar Scroll down under Configurable Features and select Odometer Distance. Make your Distance selection from the entry screen, then click SEND button to program the vehicle/device selected *Repeat this action for each Bus in the fleet NOTE: See ALERTING to and Cell-Phone Text section to setup for receiving instant notificationto and/or Text alerts to Cell-Phones. * Service reminders can also be setup for Engine Time (Engine-On hours) User Guide r2.4 page 8 of 12

11 Reporting and History Review Reporting Basics Reports can be viewed for a asset or multiple assets (from DEVICES Tab), or for the entire fleet (MAIN Tab) Single/Multiple assets/vehicles DEVICES Tab, Open Device TOOLBAR, select Reports Tab Select Period: enter dates and click All Messages - Report-Default is current day since 12:00am or- last 3 months timeframe Clicking SAVE will allow saving report to your computer for later viewing or open in Excel immediately Click PRINT to print the report Filter Report Data Clicking the drop-down box under Filter by: allows setting the report to only display a specific type of history messages in the report User Guide r2.4 page 9 of 12

12 Movements Report - (primarily a Commercial Fleet function) Select Device Movements under Messages section Scheduling Reports to your Click on Schedule (top of window) to schedule reports to be created and sent to your for access, Enter schedule Abbreviation name, Schedule info, address and other information as desired Click Create when finished to save the schedule. 13 Geomarkers Visited (geomarker zones/areas) Click on Geomarkers Visited to open report Idling Report (Engine running without vehicle movement: Commercial Fleet function) Click on Device Idlings to open the Idling report User Guide r2.4 page 11 of 12

14 Management Settings (1) Click on TOOLBAR from Home Screen DEVICES Tab, or MAIN Tab (2) Select the MANAGE Tab (3) Then Select from the listed options (4) Click Update if changes were made to a setting Example: Circle Geomarker Zone GeoMarkers MAIN Tab: Create Goemarker Zones anywhere on earth. The Geomarker Abbreviation Name can be used when device messages are received, instead of by the Address location, such as; Office, South Warehouse or Customer-ABC Co. - Geomarkers can also be setup by putting the mouse over an existing vehicle/asset location displayed on the map, then Selecting Assign Name Example: Polygon Geomarker Zone TIP: Don t know the Address? or creating a Polygon Geomarker? When creating Polygon Geomarkers, Latitude/Longitude is required for each point. You can GOTO where you can easily select a point on the map, copy the Lat/Lon for each point, and paste them into the Polygon Geomarker or Circle Geomarker creation area.
