1 Device Types and BaptistSrvcs Credentials As you are probably aware, every user has been provided a new 6 digit Baptist login ID which will be used to access new applications including Epic. This same ID is also used for Healthstream. Your current Jackson login ID uses the MHP Active Directory Domain (Baptist Jackson Applications). Your new login ID will use BaptistSrvcs Active Directory Domain (Baptist Memphis applications). 2 Different types of machines are used on all our campuses and there will be 2 different ways to access the Memphis applications including Epic. GREEN Sticker Devices (labeled HEALTHCAST) labeling is in progress These devices have the Healthcast lock screen as shown below. EFFECTIVE 1/21/18, these devices will REQUIRE BaptistSrvcs credentials to access. Most of these machines have a prox badge reader. On 1/21/18, if you are using a prox badge to access, you will be required to enroll that badge by logging into BaptistSrvcs on these devices using the new 6 digit Baptist login ID. These devices provide single signon for Epic and instructions for use are shown below: Page 1 of 6

2 LOCKING KIOSK SHARED MODE INPATIENT Login: Tap your badge on the card reader attached to the computer. Enter your network username and password Click login or press Enter. Your XA ToolBar will be displayed with available applications. Your password will be saved for 120 minutes. Please tap your badge at least once Lock the Computer: Tap your badge on the reader to display the Privacy Shield and hide your work. You can tap your badge on the same computer to resume your work. Logoff your session: Click X at upper right to Logoff your session. Logoff Another User: If the computer is in use by another user. Tap your badge. This gracefully logs off any user with an open session, and automatically logs you into your own session. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What if I tap my badge and the reader doesn t do anything? Call the Help Desk(x8888 or ). Your reader may need to be replaced. What if I can t enroll my badge? Call the Help Desk(x8888 or ). This problem is Active Directory account issue. What if I tap my badge and it isn t me? Call the Help Desk(x8888 or ). You must re-enroll your badge. What if I mistype my username or password during enrollment/password? Tap out and tap back in to restart enrollment/password update process. Page 2 of 6

3 To Launch Applications: Click on XA ToolBar icon to display the drop down menu of available applications. Important You must use Citrix BaptistSrvcs link access from the XA Toolbar icon to launch Citrix applications. Do NOT launch Citrix applications from other Websites such as MDBaptist.COM, Paragon-Citrix shortcut from Carenet, gobaptist.bmhcc.org. The Quicklaunch option will provide access to internet explorer / browser for commonly used applications Page 3 of 6

4 BLUE STICKER Devices (labeled Go Baptist Services) labeling is in progress These older devices do not have the lock screen and you must access the new applications, like Lawson, Epic and others, via an icon on the desktop called Go Baptist Services. When you click this icon, you will select BaptistSrvcs in the drop down and use the new 6 digit Baptist Login ID to access. The old XA (ExactAccess) single signon will still be present on some BLUE STICKER machines and will ONLY allow access to the Jackson applications. These old devices will have an icon as shown below: At Epic go-live you should no longer be using this ExactAccess function. Use the steps shown above for BLUE and GREEN sticker computers. 5 Preparing for Using the new 6 digit Baptist Login If you have not logged into a device or application yet with the new 6 digit Baptist Login ID, please follow the steps below. STEP 1 - please click this link to access the Password reset portal to set up security questions for your new signon. Setting up security questions in the portal will allow you to reset or change your password for your new 6 digit Bapist Login ID. This portal is only available on the MBHS network. (It will not work from home). ** MAKE SURE YOU Select BaptistSrvcs domain in the drop down. ** The new BaptistSrvcs password will update your existing MHP password within 15 minutes. Please login to one of the 2 device types Green or Blue listed above with the new 6 digit Baptist Login ID and VALIDATE that you see all the old Jackson applications as well as the new Memphis applications. If you do NOT see all your applications, contact the help desk via phone at x8888 or or helpdesk@bmhcc.org. If you start-up your dedicated Baptist PC via a login at the Control Alt Delete screen, this process will NOT change. Continue to use the current Jackson login ID which consists of 1 st and last initial and your current employee number. Continue to reset your password through the Password Portal linked above and on Carenet. Page 5 of 6

6 Access to Jackson applications like Paragon, MPF, HMI, RL Solutions, Performance Analytics, itigr will continue to use the current Jackson login ID which consists of 1 st and last initial and your current employee number. Some of these applications such as Paragon currently use single signon and the single signon functionality will be removed on 1/21/18.
