1 An office will schedule linked appointments when a patient needs to see several doctors during the course of one extensive visit. In the process of scheduling linked appointments, the openings display as being on temporary hold, so no one else in the practice may reserve or schedule them. Additionally, once the episode is scheduled, if one of the linked appointments is canceled, all related appointments will be cancelled as well. Click anywhere to continue... 20 A red X appears next to the appointment which you are currently scheduling. This mark helps you keep track of each appointment that you book. You could cancel any appointments by right clicking on each appointment in the list and canceling individually OR simply click the CANCEL ALL button to cancel all of the linked appointments at once.
