The Loss Prevetio Coucil represets the highest achievable stadard withi our idustry. The complete Fire Stopper rage of fire resistat roller shutter doors have bee tested to BS 476 part for up to 240 miutes fire resistace by the Loss Prevetio Coucil Board (certificate o. 477). It is essetial the structure to which fire stopper is fitted must have the same fire ratig as stipulated for the shelter, ie. 30/60/120 ad 240 miutes.

11 FIRE STOPPER ROLLER SHUTTER Operatio Shutters up to a maximum size of 2500x2500mm ca be supplied self coilig push up operatio. Shutters above this size should be either had chai or had wheel, mechaically geared or electricity operated. Had chai operatio allows the shutter to be operated from oe side oly. Had chai wheel operatio allows operatio from both sides. All electrically operated fire shutters have a uique motor with built i cotrolled descet feature. Cotrolled descet operatio is optioal o o-electric doors but is a good, safe practice ad should be specified. Desig Poit Opeigs must be formed from materials of equal fire ratig to that of shutter. For desig loads please use 35kg per square metre. It is ot recommeded to coect fire shutters to the alarm system without a meas of cotrolled descet.
