The Verotec Case desig provides a upgrade path from the basic case to provide a high-emc or IP 55 performace eclosure that meets the may curret evirometal requiremets. The Verotec Case has bee desiged with discretely hidde fixig screws uder clip i mouldigs. This meas ot oly is your product more secure, from casual iterferece, it is also i a visually clea eclosure. This allows cool air to be pulled ito the case, by covectio. I cases of high thermal load Verotec ca offer to supply Verotec cases with fas ad/or fa apertures o the rear pael supplied as part of the Tecserv service EMC PROTECTION AIRFLOW Verotec Cases have bee desiged with iheret EMC/RFI protectio. Fitted with optioal EMC/IP Frot ad Rear Paels ad coductive figer strips the cases will provide a high level of atteuatio across a broad frequecy rage. EMC/IP Frot ad rear paels are available as optioal accessories alog with a gasket kit for the Verotec Case IP PROTECTION I order to meet a wider rage of applicatios the Verotec Case is also able to be upgraded to meet IP 54. Fitted with optioal EMC/IP Frot ad Rear paels ad IP seals the cases will protect iteral equipmet from igress of moisture ad dust. The Verotec case is protected i most idustrial eviromets. 9 Verotec Case: Hadles & Trims Verotec Cases offer 5 frot trim optios depedig upo the applicatio they are beig used for: OPTION 1 Optio 1 No frot trims this would be used whe a Verotec plai frot pael is used i Verotec case. I this applicatio the frot pael fixigs are visible, but this optio offers the ability to be able to quickly remove the frot pael without removig the top cover of the case. Optio 2 Frot Cover Trims These ca be fitted with or without a Verotec frot pael ad would cover the pael fixigs. The covers are made up of two extrusios which slide together ad require the top cover of the case to be removed addig to security. Whe used with a 19ich frot pael the 19 ich pael fixigs remai visible for simple removal of the frot pael. FRONT COVER TRIMS height Order Code 1U U U U Optio 3 Frot Cover Trims with hadles These trims offer the same features ad beefits of the cover trims but with the ifill trim beig replaced by a hadle ifill. This gives the added beefit of beig able easily lift the case frot the frot ad offers protectio to frot mouted compoets. 10 Verotec Case: Frot & Rear Paels Verotec Case: has its ow rage of dedicated frot ad rear paels. Most cases will require a rear pael, which ca be either vetilated or ot. Alumiium frot paels are available ad allow the fitmet of optioal trims ad hadles to the frot of the case. Frot Paels for the Verotec case are supplied i aodised alumiium ad are desiged to provide a aesthetic frot fiish for the case. The frot paels are maufactured from 2.5mm thick alumiium sheet which is readily modified to accept switches, displays ad other frot pael moutig compoets The frot pael fixes to the vertical extrusios i the frot corers of the case. The visual appearace of the pael ca be ehaced by optioally fittig trims or hadle trims over the frot pael. As well as improvig the appearace this also ehaces the security of the case by coverig the frot pael fixig screws. 11 Verotec Case: EMC/IP Frot & Rear Paels, Sealig Kits Verotec Case: has the ability to upgrade with EMC ad IP sealig ad is oe of the uique features of the Verotec Case rage. By fittig a EMC/IP pael to the frot ad rear of a Verotec Case it is the possible to add a combiatio of EMC seals or IP gaskets to provide up to 40dB atteuatio at 1 GHz or a evirometal seal to IP54. With the Verotec case it is also possible to fit both types of seal together. This meas that a Verotec case ca provide both EMC ad Evirometal sealig for the same applicatio of a istrumet case. EMC/IP Frot & Rear paels are required i order to upgrade a Verotec case with EMC ad Evirometal seals. The paels are made up of two parts. The outer pael, which is 3mm alumiium, creates a decorative fiish which is aodised. The ier pael, which is 0.9mm galvaised steel is coductive ad corrosio resistat. The ier pael provides the flages to fix the EMC or IP seals allowig them to mate with the frot ad rear frames of the Verotec case. Chassis tray supports are available i 4 depths each to suit the overall depth of the case they are fitted to. Chassis trays are available i a rage of depths ad two widths 19ich ad 10.5 ich. They are iteded for the moutig of discreet compoets which would ot ormally be mouted i a 19ich eclosure. If required, more tha oe tray ca be fitted to match the depth of the case, with a space to allow cables to be passed betwee them.
