Figure 3: Optin 2 - Registratin fr a clsed certificatin date 2.2 Self - assessment General infrmatin n self-assessment f PM cmpetences: The PM cmpetences are divided int three cmpetence areas: Perspective cmpetences Peple cmpetences Practice cmpetences Fr better rientatin and easier assessment f the PM cmpetences, the crrespnding cmpetence indicatrs f the respective cmpetence elements are shwn. 6 The fllwing self-assessment is t be carried ut cnscientiusly and truthfully. It therefre requires sme time. The self-assessment f yur PM cmpetences is t be carried ut using the ICB4 six-stage taxnmy (see page 2), whereby stage 6 represents the abslute maximum. T be able t carry ut the crrespnding selfassessment it is necessary t familiarise yurself with the descriptin f the crrespnding cmpetence elements in the ICB4. Yur wn cmpetences shuld be assessed based n these descriptins. 10 When saving the specified prjects, the specified persn days are autmatically added up accrding t yur specificatins and a crrespnding check is perfrmed t ensure that yu meet the required persn days (PT) fr pma/ipma Level B. 12 The preparatin f an Executive Summary Reprt (ESR) is based n the ttal budget, prject bjectives and results (Please nte the separate presentatin f the prject bjectives and prject results),number f persns invlved in the prject team, number f suppliers, explanatins f stakehlders and PM challenges fr each prject with which the required 540 persn days (PT) are achieved as prject manager in cmplex prjects. With yur Lgin n the pma website (pma Self Service Tl ) yu can nw track the current status f yur registratin and view, dwnlad and print details f yur registratin as a PDF file. 14 3 Payment details The pen invice amunt fr the pma/ipma Level B certificatin n the date f the registered certificatin date accrding t the registratin is due 14 days frm the invice date withut any deductin. The current prices fr the certificatins can be fund n the website. (Other prices may apply fr grups). If the PM certificatin prcess is nt cmpleted ne year after authrisatin (nt including resits) the authrisatin will expire. In case f a new start f the PM certificatin prcess the full amunt f the PM certificatin fee is t be paid. In case f withdrawal frm the PM certificatin befre admissin, a cancellatin fee f EUR (= EUR % VAT EUR 23.00) will be charged as due; after authrisatin the ttal fee is due. In case f the exam date being pstpned, an administrative fee f EUR (= EUR % VAT EUR 23.00) will be charged. In case f a nn-fulfilment f the requirements f the respective PM certificatin level r f a nnfulfilment f the requirements within 1.5 mnths respectively, an administratin fee f EUR (= EUR % VAT EUR 23.00) will be charged. In the event f a fail the candidate may resit the certificatin at the earliest 12 mnths after the failed attempt but n later than 18 mnths thereafter. In exceptinal cases the assessrs may shrten the resit perid. A resit includes all cmpnents f the certificatin (reprt, wrkshp, ral exam and interview). The entire prcess has t be cmpleted within 1.5 years after participatin in the first exam. In case f a new start f the PM certificatin prcess the full amunt f the PM certificatin fee is t be paid. T resit the PM certificatin as Senir Prject Manager we will charge EUR 1, (= EUR % VAT EUR 99.00). Fr the issue f a secnd certificate we will charge EUR (= EUR % VAT EUR 1.50) Yu will receive the invice apprximately 2 mnths previus t the certificatin date by pst r e- mail. We reserve the right t exclude the candidate frm the certificatin prcess if the invice(s) is/are nt paid. This registratin is binding. The pma/ipma Level B certificatin is valid fr 5 years. After this perid a pma/ipma Level B recertificatin r, after crrespnding experience, a higher certificatin accrding t pma/ipma is pssible. The revcatin perid shall be furteen days frm the date f cnclusin f the cntract. The revcatin f an applicatin fr (re-)certificatin requires a new applicatin fr (re-)certificatin with all assciated csts and deadlines. In rder t exercise yur right f revcatin, yu must infrm us f yur decisin by stating yur name, address, telephne number and address in a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by pst, ). Yu can use the sample revcatin frm linked in the imprint f the pma website. 6 Certificatin briefing Certificatin briefings are binding infrmative meetings fr IPMA Level B & C candidates, at which the certificatin prcess (applicatin/reprt/certificatin day) is discussed in detail. Certificatin briefings take place nline as a webinar and at the pma Certificatin Bdy s premises in the 9 th district in Vienna. We recmmend participating in the certificatin briefing prir t preparing the reprt. Briefing dates can be fund n the pma website at Events 7 Reprt prcess The reprt prcess is segmented int the fllwing steps: Preparatin and submissin f the reprt t the assessr by the candidate via self service tl and Feedback n the reprt by the assessr, als via self service tl. 7.1 Reprt The candidate describes his/her wn PM cmpetences based n the STAR methd and in accrdance with the reprt structure (accrding t 7.3). We recmmend the use f the PM methds and plans in the latest pm baseline. Please use yur prject plans as is fr the reprt and if necessary address any differences t the PM methds and plans f the pm baseline. Relevant explanatins regarding the PM plans are t be directly included in the plans in the reprt, as well as direct references t ther/related PM plans, where applicable. 17 The aim f the reprt is fr the assessr t be able t evaluate the certificatin candidate's PM qualificatins (knwledge and experience). Criteria fr the selectin f a prject fr the reprt Please select fr the reprt exclusively the mst recently cmpleted cmplex (acc. t Cmplexity Sheet / 25 pints) prject that yu have led by yurself as PM. Please nte: The prject must have been cmpleted prir t submissin f the applicatin. The candidate has t make sure that the prject perfrming cmpany agrees with the prject being used fr the reprt (the crrespnding cnfirmatin is nt required by pma). Frmal rules The reprt is t be prepared by the candidate herself/himself. The prject descriptin has t be clearly understandable fr the assessrs. Real, nt fictitius: Prject data can be annymus but must nt be mdified. Additinal PM plans can be attached in the Appendix if useful. Selected cmpetences will be discussed (perspective, peple and practice cmpetences): Exactly the required number f cmpetence elements has t be treated. Each cmpetence element accrding t the ICB4 cmpetence element number has t be marked as a text heading and shuld be linked with the general table f cntents f the reprt. The reprt is t be upladed via the self service tl by the specified date: File frmat & size: PDF r in the case f tw dcuments as a zip file (using a Windws-cmpatible standard ZIP prgramme), max. 5 MB, fnt size 11, line spacing 1.5. It must be ensured that the reprt can be printed in A4 frmat in black and white and is legible prir t submissin. A maximum f 2 dcuments will be accepted (reprt + 1 appendix). The number f pages f the reprt (+ appendix) shuld nt exceed 40 pages. Fr security reasns Excel and MS Prject files are t be saved as pdf dcuments and nly these pdf dcuments are t be used in the reprt r the appendix.
