3 ISTAATIO FIGURE A Install the ground steel plate on a solid and level surface with suitable bolts. Ensure that the plate is mounted straight. Place the pole adapter on the ground steel plate. Put the washers on the plate bolts below the nuts and tighten the nuts. Place the asphalt ring around the adapter if installation requires asphaltation. FIGURE B The pole can also be installed on a concrete foundation using the concrete foundation adapter ø 60. Push the concrete foundation adapter inside the foundation until the adapter flange meets the concrete foundation sealing. Use a hammer made of rubber or wood if necessary. Mount the pole adapter on the concrete foundation adapter flange using the screws and washers included. 3

4 FIGURE 2 Pull the supply cables through the steel plate and the adapter mm measured from the upper end of the adapter. Remove the sheath of the supply cables at the length of max. 250 mm. Cut the leads in different lengths and strip them at the length of 5 mm. Connect the supply cable leads to the power connectors. Connect the pole power cables to the power connectors. Keep in mind that the -connector should be located below the power connectors. An example connection diagram is shown on the next page. If the optional external control is used, pull also the control signal cable through the steel plate and the adapter approx. 200 mm measured from the upper end of the adapter. Ensure strain relief to the control cable by fastening it to the supply cables using a cable tie

6 FIGURE 3 Cover the stripped parts of the supply cables and the connections with the plastic insulation shield. Pull the power cables and the optional control cables underneath and outside the shield. Ensure that the cables are not under pressure. Place the pole body on the adapter and fasten it with the pole mounting screws. If using the asphalt ring, fasten the body above it. Pull the power cables and the optional control cables through the pole body. FIGURE 4 Insert the inset halfway to the pole body, keep it in place e.g. with a screwdriver. Connect the power cables and the optional control cables to the cable connectors in the inset. 6

7 FIGURE 5 Drop the inset into place and fasten it with the inset screw. ote that the inset has to be installed straight. FIGURE 6 Attach the front cover sealing along the edges of the hatch opening in the pole body. Connect receptacle connectors inside the inset. Attach the front cover with the front cover screws. Fasten the screws on the left side but leave the screws on the right side a bit opened for so long that you are able to place the hatch into the right position. 7

Check hatch and cable sealings, replace damaged sealings 4. Check tightness of -cable screw that is connected to the frame, the screw is located at inset assembly 5. Check receptacles for signs of damage or wear, replace damaged receptacles The warranty period for Ensto electric vehicle charging poles is 3 years from the date of purchase but no longer than 4 years from the date of manufacture, if there is no other agreement. The warranty is not applicable if maintenance is not performed according to instructions. Warranty conditions, see 9
