NOTE: The hardware requiremets listed i Table 1, Table 2, Table 3, ad Table 4 are miimum requiremets ad should be used oly as a guidelie, as they do ot take ito cosideratio various factors that affect scalability. 20 Platform Requiremets for Oracle Busiess Supported Data Sources Supported Data Sources NOTE: Oracle Busiess creates database-specific code to help optimize performace for differet databases. Due to chages itroduced i differet database versios, oly explicitly tested versios of database cliet ad server software are listed below. I istaces where alterative service pack or patch levels have bee tested ad certified, these will also be idicated. If a customer ruig o a higher patch level fids a problem i the use of their Oracle Busiess software, the Global Techical Support will ivestigate it as ormal. If a defect is foud i the Oracle Busiess software, the ormal support process will be followed to determie if ad whe the defect will be rectified. I such a case, that defect idetified will be cosidered to be i the higher versio of database software, ot the Oracle Busiess software. It may be possible for Oracle to produce a patch to work aroud this defect, but this caot be guarateed ad ideed may ot eve be techically possible. I this situatio, the customer should cotact the database vedor to obtai a patch to their database software that rectifies the problem, or should regress their database software back dow to a versio that does ot exhibit this problem whe ruig with Oracle Busiess software. Customers regressio ad acceptace tests that will be ru after the database upgrades are performed should fully test the rage of features ad fuctioality that are expected to be see i the productio eviromet, to esure that they are cofidet there are o sigificat problems itroduced by the upgrade of the database software.
