3 INTRODUCTION This graphic manual serves as a guideline to the regulations which apply to preserve the integrity of the Cancer Alliance corporate identity, predominantly its graphic application. iconography corporate logo - vector with no transparency corporate colours - rgb, cmyk & pantone corporate fonts corporate logo variations - margins, colour, grayscale and two-tone - horizontal and vertical corporate logo variations - with payline, without payline logo placement on photographs business cards letterhead signature flame colour breakdown of each facet - transparency removed The application of the regulations covered in this graphic manual is vital in all elements of the corporation in always presenting a superior brand identity.

This type face is used exclusively for main headings. Sub-Headings THIS IS CENTURY GOTHIC BOLD AT 14 POINT, CAPITAL LETTERS. This type face is used exclusively for sub-headings and short lines of text where emphasis is needed. Body Text This is Century Gothic regular at 11 point. This type face is used exclusively for body text. Quotations This is Century Gothic Italic at 11 point. This type face is used for quotations in body text. Can be bold italic if needed. * Point size can be adjusted if needed for design variations

23 LETS TALK ABOUT CANCER BRAND GUIDELINES & CORPORATE IDENTITY Margin 15mm on all sides for this size. Resize together

24 ICONOGRAPHY The logo consists of three overlapping, shapes in colours deliberately aligned with the CANCER ALLIANCE s corporate colours. The shape used was inspired by a graphic font whose comma and apostrophe (elements of communication) closely resemble both a speech bubble and the stylised profile of a human face. - SPEECH BUBBLE: represents the mission and mandate of the Cancer Alliance s Cancer Advocacy Toolkit and Let s Talk About Cancer: to speak up, speak out and speak about cancer together. - HUMAN FACES: The different colours represent both the uniqueness of human beings, as well as our important differences. i.e. patients and medical practitioners, male and female, race and gender
