Rusty s hours of dedication to maintaining this beautiful Cessna 170 paid off this year. Congrats Rusty! 3 Hicks Airfield Pilots Association Minutes for Board Meeting - June 14, 2018 Meeting called to order at 7:00pm by President Bryan Martin. Jay Pratt & Reb Stimson absent. Opening remarks by Bryan Martin Bryan indicated that Tom Martin has resigned for personal reasons. Bryan was elected in Executive Session of the BOD. Minutes from April meeting were approved electronically & published in Flappings. Financials not yet available from Marc Foreman & Associates. Unfinished Business: North Gate - Attorney is moving slowly. Gate needs to be moved from current storage. South Gate - Bob Avery has ordered parts. Marlin Klotz volunteered to help with repairs. Runway/taxiway repairs in the plans. Striping and sealing in the next few weeks. Septic - Volunteer needed to oversee. Social - Volunteer needed! Safety - Several ideas were entertained. Trash on airport is an issue. New Business: New Airport Manager - Brock Street (approved 3-0) Bryan Martin proposed voic / system for BOD (Approved 2-1) Jeff Sheets - the property to the east of the airport is for sale. General Discussion: Board meetings will continue on a bi-monthly schedule with Executive Sessions as needed. Motion made & seconded to adjourn meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:40pm. 4 SOUTH GATE NOTICE! As of August 1st, the south gate is operational again thanks to many hours of volunteer work by volunteers Bob Avery and Morry Anderson. Gate rollers were replaced along with the addition of a new backlit keypad, gate chain, and new timer module to control opening and closing times. The phone/modem was removed so now a gate code or remote is required for entry after hours. GATE CODE ENTRY To enter after hours, a four digit personal code must be input at the backlit keypad. No special characters, just your four digit code should be entered. If you don t have a code, please contact Morry Anderson at morry.anderson@gmail.com PURCHASE REMOTES Property owners can purchase remotes from Mary Reddick for $15.00 each.
