But actual achieved dimension is 1289, instead of 1321 mm. And also cover bore y axis centre line to end face not equal for both side. One side mm & another side mm achieved (4mm variation). The Following Machining Reworks to be done in the body & Pillar sub assembly 1. The Total Length of the Body as per GAD is 1321 mm ; we need to remove Gas cutting marks in both the welding ends ; after that, we will calculate & propose the Total length to Customer. Manivel to confirm the Final length after rough machining of welding ends 2. In Pillar assembly there is a 3 mm variation in concentricity between yoke plate & bottom plate ; when rectifying this by machining, 5mm in Total length of Pillar assembly will be reduced. 5 Kindly recall my discussions with you 1 st April 2016 when we had proposed for return of the old valve [ Steam Blowing valve] to our works against the spare valve 20 received at your site. The spare valve had been received at your site on 31 st March and also had been since installed by now. Please note that sending the spares to your site is not going to help, as the valve cannot be repaired at site since as per our technician s observations the downstream side disc had got damaged, which can be rectified at our works only. Also we need to analyse the damage at our works.
