Pht Subject Restrictins Phts must be apprpriate fr psting n a public gvernment website. Obscene, prvcative r therwise questinable cntent will nt be cnsidered. Mt. Olive Twnship retains sle discretin as t what cnstitutes inapprpriate cntent. Entries with phts cntaining recgnizable peple must be accmpanied by a signed artist release frm. Return f Phts Phts, regardless f the medium, will nt be returned. Please d nt send yur nly cpy f a pht. Ownership/Use Rights Phtgraphers retain the cpyright t their phtgraphs. By entering the cntest, phtgraphers agree t have their submitted phtgraph(s) displayed n the muntlivetwnship.cm website withut any fee r ther frm f cmpensatin, and agree that Munt Olive Twnship may display phts in an electrnic pht gallery, display any printed submissins at the municipal building and may make and retain cpies f the phtgraph(s) fr future Mt. Olive Recreatin Department use. Psted phts will be subject t the muntlivetwnship.cm pht use plicy. Phts will be credited t the phtgrapher named in the entry frm. Phts may als be submitted by disc, and mailed t Mt. Olive Recreatin, P.O. Bx 450, Budd Lake, NJ Include the infrmatin listed abve regarding Phtgrapher, Categry, and Descriptin. If mre than ne submissin is n the disc, clearly indicate which infrmatin ges with each pht. Print Phts In additin t the submissin, if yu are submitting a printed, munted pht (n mre than 8 ½ x 11 in size) fr display in the Municipal Building, write n the back f it the phtgrapher s name, phne number and address, s can match it up with yur ed infrmatin. Judging Entries will be judged n the basis f creativity, phtgraphic quality, and effectiveness in cnveying the beauty and/r unique character f Munt Olive Twnship in ne f the cntest subjects. A Mt. Olive Recreatin panel will judge the entries and all cntest decisins are final. Entries that fail t cmply with the Official Cntest Rules will be disqualified. The Mt. Olive Recreatin panel will include prfessinals frm the fields f phtgraphic art, graphic design, website design, website develpment, marketing and public relatins. Winners Judges will select a First Place (best ver-all), Best and Runner-Up winning pht fr each f the cntest categries (Phtgrapher catagries). If fewer than ten eligible phtgraphs are entered in a categry, Mt. Olive Recreatin may chse t name nly a first place winner, r may cancel that categry. In additin, ne r mre hnrable mentin winners may be selected in categries with especially large numbers f entries, at the discretin f the judging panel. Winners will be ntified apprximately 2-3 weeks after the cntest deadline by phne and using the infrmatin in the submissin. Winning phtgraphs, alng with the phtgrapher's name, address (ptinal) and infrmatin abut the pht, will be displayed n the

4 muntlivetwnship.cm website fr 6 weeks after the cntest, and during the winter mnths f Winning submissins will be displayed at the Municipal Building. Submitting Digital Images Digital images shuld be submitted as an attachment t yur submissin .. Panramic phts are nt eligible. Images shuld be submitted in JPG (at high quality) r TIFF frmat. File sizes must be n mre than 3.0 mb per image. Images must be in natural clr. Black and white, sepia tne, and dutne images are nt eligible. Digital images will nt be returned. Image Mdificatins: Minr digital enhancement is permitted, but images that have been significantly mdified r appear unnatural will be disqualified. Nt Permitted: N brders r frames may be added t images. N watermarks, signatures, r cpyright ntices may be added t images. All winning images will be displayed with the phtgrapher's name. Adding r replacing elements in an image is nt permitted. Artistic filters are nt permitted. Permitted Mdificatins: Images may be crpped and rtated as necessary as lng as the rectangular frmat is maintained and the size is within the specificatins abve. Images may be resized as lng as the aspect rati is maintained Red-eye remval and spt editing One-step enhancement (such as "AutFix", "QuickFix", "Aut Levels", etc.) Use f filters t sharpen, sften, blur, despeckle, r remve nise. Use f crrective functins t imprve the natural appearance f the image, such as levels, cntrast, brightness, curves, intensity, tne, hue, saturatin, lightness, value, clr balance, and tint. Additinal Terms and Cnditins Mt. Olive Recreatin is nt respnsible fr cmputer system, hardware, sftware, r prgram malfunctins r ther errrs, failures, r delayed cmputer transactins r netwrk cnnectins that are human r technical in nature. Furthermre, Mt. Olive Recreatin is nt respnsible fr: (i) lst, misdirected, misplaced, illegible, unintelligible, incmplete, r late entries r (ii) any act, failure t act, r delay regarding the transmitting r prcessing f entries. Mt. Olive Recreatin reserves the right, in its sle discretin, t cancel r suspend all r any prtin f this cntest withut ntice if factrs beynd Mt. Phts may be dwnladed/cpied electrnically frm a web brwser fr persnal, nncmmercial uses, with the fllwing limitatins: Phts may nt be altered in any way, including resizing r crpping. Pht credits must be prvided. Credit shuld be given as fllws: "Phtgraph by [phtgrapher's name]. Used by permissin frm Phts may nt be sld r used in any way fr prfit r cmmercial purpses, including use in cmmercial r prfessinal websites r printed materials.
