Digital graphics feature in many areas f ur lives and play a very imprtant part in tday s wrld. The digital media sectr relies heavily n these visual stimulants within the prducts it prduces, t cmmunicate messages effectively. The aim f this unit is fr learners t understand the basics f digital graphics editing fr the creative and digital media sectr. They will learn where and why digital graphics are used and what techniques are invlved in their creatin. This unit will develp learners understanding f the client brief, time frames, deadlines and preparatin techniques as part f the planning and creatin prcess. On cmpletin f this unit, learners will understand the purpse and prperties f digital graphics, and knw where and hw they are used. They will be able t plan the creatin f digital graphics, create new digital graphics using a range f editing techniques and review a cmpleted graphic against a specific brief. The festival will take place ver three days and will be held at the Westmrland Cunty Shwgrund. It is a family festival that will shwcase films up t certificate 12, frm all ver the wrld, in an pen-air cinema that is set up fr the event. Yu have been asked t create a digital graphic that will be used t prmte the internatinal film festival. A high quality file will be needed fr use as an A3 pster t be displayed in the lcal area, tgether with a lw reslutin versin suitable fr use n a website as an advertisement f 500 pixels in width.
