4 Bluetth Permissins "andrid.permissin.bluetooth" T use Bluetth features, app must declare the permissin BLUETOOTH Fr any Bluetth cmmunicatin, such as requesting a cnnectin, accepting a cnnectin, and transferring data "andrid.permissin.bluetooth_admin" If app wants t initiate device discvery r manipulate Bluetth settings, must declare BLUETOOTH_ADMIN in additin t the BLUETOOTH permissin 4

8 Discvering Devices (Scan) Asynchrnus The discvery prcess usually invlves an inquiry scan f abut 12 secnds App must register a BradcastReceiver fr the ACTION_FOUND intent The system bradcasts this intent fr each discvered device (WiFi scan returns all) The intent cntains the extra fields EXTRA_DEVICE and EXTRA_CLASS, which in turn cntain a BluetthDevice and a BluetthClass, respectively 8
