18 Battery Life & Charging Allow battery to run down completely once a month. Draining the battery completely and then recharging it allows the battery meter to stay calibrated. Power down weekly This isn't confirmed by Apple, but many users suggest fully powering down your ipad weekly to keep the battery performing well. Faster Charging If you put your device in Airplane Mode before plugging it in to charge it will charge twice as fast

19 Reboot Frozen Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button for about 8 seconds. This will force the ipad to turn off, even if it's frozen. Running Slow Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button - Located on the top edge of the ipad - for a few seconds until the Power slider appears.
