The SMRT410 has the smart combiatio of high compliace voltage ad high curret to test all electromechaical, solid-state ad microprocessor-based overcurret relays, icludig voltage cotrolled, voltage restrait ad high impedace directioal groud overcurret. The SMRT410 provides a complete multi-phase test system for commissioig of protectio systems. With up to 4 voltage chaels a 6 high currets, the SMRT410 meets every testig eed. The SMRT410 VIGEN modules also provide high power i BOTH the voltage ad curret chaels to test virtually all types of protective relays. The SMRT410 test system has the ability to be maually cotrolled with Megger s ew Smart Touch View Iterface (STVI). The STVI, with its large, full color, STVI with SMRT410 high resolutio, TFT LCD touch scree allows the user to perform maual, steady-state ad dyamic testig quickly ad easily usig the maual test scree, as well as usig built-i preset test routies for most popular relays. The STVI elimiates the eed for a computer whe testig virtually all types of relays. Meu screes ad touch scree fuctio buttos are provided to quickly ad easily select the desired test fuctio. Tests results ca be saved to the STVI for dowload to a memory stick to trasfer or prit test reports. For full automatic testig the SMRT410 may be cotrolled by Megger Advaced Visual Test Software (AVTS). AVTS is a Microsoft Widows XP /Vista /7 compatible software program desiged to maage all aspects of protective relay testig usig the ew Megger SMRT. Applicatios Each curret chael is rated for VA cotiuous, up to VA for short duratios. It has a uique flat power curve from 4 to 30 Amps that isures maximum compliace voltage to load at all times. With oly 3 currets i parallel the uit provides up to VA for istataeous tests. With a maximum compliace voltage of 50 Volts per phase, with just two chaels i series provides 100 Volts of compliace voltage to test high impedace relays. Each voltage chael ca provide variable outputs of 0-30/150/ 300 Volts at 150 VA of output power, ad has a uique flat power curve from 30 to 150 Volts isurig maximum output power to the load at all times. With the

2 voltage chaels coverted to curret, a five chael uit ca provide 10 currets. Usig the Etheret ports, the SMRT410 is literally a plugad-play uit, where voltage ad curret outputs ca be seamlessly sychroized with other SMRT uits outputs for testig more complex test applicatios such as back-toback tests. USB 2.0 iterface port The USB port provides a PC iterface for automated cotrol of the SMRT uit. The IN/IEC61850 Etheret Port provides iterface to multiple SMRT uits, ad may be used to coect to the IEC substatio bus. The OUT Etheret Port is primarily used to itercoect multiple SMRT uits together for sychroous multi-uit operatio. The STVI PoE (Power over Etheret) port ad is used to coect to the STVI. 5 Timer The Timer-Moitor Iput is desiged to moitor ad time-tag iputs, like a sequece of evets recorder. I additio, the biary iput cotrols eable the user to perform logic AND/OR fuctios, ad coditioally cotrol the biary output relay to simulate circuit breaker, trip, reclose ad carrier cotrol operatio i real-time.
