6 SPLOST IV SPLOST IV The sales tax would be collected beginning on July 1, 2012 and would expire on June 30, 2017 SPLOST IV is projected to generate $876 million at best. $858.9 million for GCPS $ million for Buford City Schools Approval of SPLOST IV also authorizes the sale of $275 million in G.O. bonds to be repaid with sales tax proceeds
