4 2 Introduction Th prsnt documnt dscribs th functions of th wirlss rcivr SRC65 BACnt MS/TP RS485. Th dvic supports th rprsntation of up to 32 EasySns snsors in th BACnt ntwork. Furthr information and dfinitions on th topic BACnt can b obtaind undr u.org. 3 Dscription of th Dvic 3.1 Dvic Dscription Dvics can b connctd by a twistd pair cabl (120 lin rsistanc). Th maximum numbr of bus usrs (without us of a bus rpatr) is dfind by th RS485 transcivr. Th protocol usd is th intrnational standard BACnt MS/TP. This nabls connction to appropriat rmot trminals such as an automation station or a building srvics managmnt systm supporting th BACnt MS/TP protocol. 3.2 RS485 Transcivr Th maximum numbr of bus usrs (without us of a rpatr) is dfind by th RS485 transcivr. Th transcivr usd allows 128 dvics pr bus sgmnt at maximum. 3.3 Protocol Th standard dfins th transmission paramtrs as 8N1, i.. 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit. Th baud rat is frly slctabl (9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, 76800, ), and is st by DIP switchs. It is also possibl to st th BACnt MAC addrss (bus addrss) of th dvic. A diffrnt bus addrss is ndd for ach dvic CB<?=HE8G?CB 7CC@F BACnt MS/TP wirlss rcivrs ar always opratd togthr with othr BACnt automation stations or building srvics managmnt systms such as BACnt oprating workstations. All paramtr sttings ar possibl through th BACnt ntwork. Tools from th particular manufacturr of an automation station or building srvics managmnt systm ar usd to start up a BACnt ntwork. 5 3.5 Configuration Options By mans of a 8 pol DIP switch an addrss btwn 1 and 127 can b st (DIP switch 1 7). A turnd ovr switch 8 has no influnc on th addrsss, but lads to a blinking of th Rx LED. Th 4 pol DIP switch is dsignd for th stting of th baud rat. Th binary codd numbrs corrspond to th following baud rats: Aftr th adjustmnt of on of both DIP switchs, a rst of th gatway is mad. First, th LEDs RADIO and RX/TX ar lighting up for 3 sconds. Thns, th dvic is initializd again. Furthrmor, th bus trminating rsistor of 120 ohm can b connctd via a jumpr. Th bus addrss must b diffrntly adjustd for ach dvic!! 3.6 LEDs Four LEDs ar usd for displaying th status information: ERROR: RADIO: RX/TX: UV: Th rd Error LED shows th status of th BUS communication. A constant lighting shows, that no valid communication is rcognizd at th BUS. A blinking LED shows, that a valid communication is rcognizd but that th dvic is not intgratd in th tokn circulation. If th communication is valid and th participation in th tokn circulation is activ, th LED is off. Th yllow RADIO LED is blinking upon vry rcipt of a valid radio tlgram. Th yllow RX/TX LED is blinking for 500ms, if th dvic is addrssd dirctly. Th UV LED is dsignd for th display of opration. In th standard opration, th LED is blinking in a 1s cyclus.
