Vermilion Danville, IL Phone: (217) Fax: (217) Vermilion County is seeking proposals for electrical work at the Vermilion County Courthouse to mount 11 interior cameras located in the second through fifth floor of the courthouse and to provide and install the conduit and cable from a DVR located in the basement of the courthouse to each camera location. The specifications for the proposal are below. As the anticipated cost is below the competitive bid requirements, this is not a formal competitive bid process. The County reserves the right to reject and all proposals. The selection of the proposal will be based upon conformity with the requirements and needs of the County, the ability to meet the requirements of the specifications below, the prior history and references of the contractor as well as price of the proposal. Any questions should be directed to Karen Rudd as indicated on the specifications cover sheet. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).

2 VERMILION COUNTY BOARD 6 N VERMILION DANVILLE, IL Minimum System Requirements/Specifications For Electrical Work at the Vermilion County Courthouse 7 N Vermilion Danville, IL /16/ Mount 11 interior cameras located in the second through fifth floor of the courthouse. 02. Provide and install the conduit and cable from the basement DVR to each camera location. a. Requires cable: West Penn 2815, RG-59/U CCTV COAX W/CU BRAID + 2 CONDUCTOR 18 AWG, or equivalent wire pulled to each camera. Plenum or wet rated were applicable. b. The cables must be run from the basement dvr location to each camera location. c. Terminate and connect the cable to each camera. Crimp the bnc ends at the headend. (Do not need to terminate the cables on the dvrs and the power supplies.) d. The cables need to labeled in the basement to designate each camera location. 03. Some of the work required (drilling, cable pulling and camera work) must be done before or after normal business hours (Monday through Friday - 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.). The electrician must be able to work in a manner that does not disturb court proceedings, department s work or the transfer of prisoners in and out of the courthouse. 04. Equipment Warranty & support : 2 years 05. All contracts for the construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12) 06. Must be able to pass a security clearance. Note: All of the camera equipment will be provided by the camera vendor. The camera vendor will be responsible for terminating the cable at the dvr system located in the courthouse basement. Any work performed must be done in a way to preserve the historical and architectural features of the Vermilion County Courthouse. 1
