Standard UL9, anadian Standards ssociation Standard 22.2 No., and nternational lectrotechnical ommission Recommendations 1-1. n innovative design of internal components allows higher MP-starter combination interrupting ratings. The MP is marked to permit proper electrical application within the assigned equipment ratings. The MP is a recognized component (UL ile 19) and complies with the applicable requirements of Underwriters Laboratories, nc. The combination may be used for the application up to 200,000 symmetrical at 00 Vac making the MP suitable for use in network distribution systems or other applications where unusually high fault currents are available. The current limiter connects to the load end of the MP and is provided with terminals suitable for copper or aluminum conductors. (See table). Limiters are coordinated with the MP so that normal fault currents are interrupted automatically by the MP without any damage to the limiter. Only the rare very high fault is opened by the limiter. aults that are interrupted by the limiter also magnetically trip the MP, opening all three poles, preventing single-phase operation. ach of the three poles of the type L limiter is equipped with an indicator that extends when a fault is interrupted by the limiter.
