1 ParaDyme Vehicle Auto Steer System Installation Manual Supported Vehicle Installations This document supports the installation of ParaDyme on the following systems. Claas 670, 730, 740, 750, 760, 770 Part No REV. A, Date: Page 1 of 11

Kit Parts Required for install 1 - BRACKET ASSEMBLY PARADYME 1 - MAIN PARADYME CABLE HARNESS 6 - FLAT WASHER, STANDARD, ZP 1/4IN 2 - COTTER PIN - 5/64 X 3/4 IN 4 - HEX HD CAPSCREW, COARSE THD, GR 8.8, ZP 10MM X 45MM 2 - HEX FLANGE NUT, COARSE THD, ZP 10MM 6 - SPLIT LOCKWASHER, YZP, 10MM 24 - FLAT WASHER, STANDARD, ZP 10MM 2 - CLEVIS PIN - 3/8 X 2 IN - ZP 2 - SNAPPER PIN - 3/8 X 2-3/4 IN - YZP 1 - CABLE PASS THROUGH - NW13 / A11 * 1 - CLAAS CAN INTERFACE CABLE * 1 - BRIDGE MODULE (CLAAS OEM) **1- USER DISPLAY **1- DISPLAY CABLE * Parts supplied in Harvest kit ** Parts supplied in Display kit Inspect the vehicle prior to installation of the ParaDyme steering system. Make sure the vehicle turns from full left to full right. Make sure that the steering linkage is tight and that there is minimal lag time between the movement of the hydraulic cylinder and movement of the wheels. If there is a problem with the steering system service the vehicle before attempting this install. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 2 of 11

3 Routing Main ParaDyme Harness: CABLE - MAIN PARADYME HARNESS Remove the front left mirror mount cover. Remove the Lexion nameplate and front left head light assembly. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 3 of 11

4 Routing Main ParaDyme Harness Cont: Locate the pass through plate behind where the Lexion nameplate had been. Remove one of the pass through plates and route the cable through replacing the cable pass through plate with the one supplied in the kit CABLE PASS THROUGH - NW13 / A11 Lower the front section of the cab headliner. Route the cable along the top front right cab frame to the rear of the cab. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 4 of 11

5 Route the cable around the headliner and down the right rear cab post. Mounting ParaDyme Bracket Assembly: The ParaDyme bracket mounts to the cab at 3 locations, 2 locations underneath the headlights and 1 location on top of the cab. 6 Mounting ParaDyme Bracket Assembly: Install quantity 2 of CLEVIS PIN - 3/8 X 2 IN ZP into the Main ParaDyme bracket assembly before installing the ParaDyme on the cab. Place the main bracket assembly on to the roof of the cab. Secure the bracket to the right mirror mount post with 2 bolts HEX HD CAPSCREW, COARSE THD, GR 8.8, ZP 10MM X 45MM and 2 washers FLAT WASHER, STANDARD, ZP 10MM. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 6 of 6

7 Mounting ParaDyme Bracket Assembly: Secure the bracket to the left mirror mount post with 2 bolts HEX HD CAPSCREW, COARSE THD, GR 8.8, ZP 10MM X 45MM and 2 washers FLAT WASHER, STANDARD, ZP 10MM. Secure the center portion of the bracket to the cab with 3 fasteners. Mounting ParaDyme: Mount the ParaDyme to the vehicle at this point by sliding the ParaDyme into the bracket back to front. 8 Mounting ParaDyme: Secure the ParaDyme by installing quantity 2 of CLEVIS PIN - 3/8 X 2 IN ZP. ParaDyme Cable Harnessing: Connect the ParaDyme data and Ethernet cables. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 8 of 8

9 CABLE - MAIN PARADYME HARNESS (installed in initial first step of procedure) CABLE - CLAAS CAN INTERFACE (supplied in Harvest kit) CABLE - POWER RELAY Part No REV. A, Date: Page 9 of 9

10 Connecting ParaDyme Cable Harnessing: Fold the driver s seat forward. Find the white factory supplied power connector and plug into the AgLeader Can interface cable. Located the Claas CAN connector and plug into the AgLeader Can interface cable. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 10 of 10

11 Connect the Ethernet connections between the AgLeader display cable and the main ParaDyme harness. Ethernet Connecting the Power control relay into the Can interface cable, Main ParaDyme harness, and AgLeader display cable. Final Check: Check that all cables are connected and in a protected location. Check that the ParaDyme unit and all brackets are securely fastened down. Power up the Autosteer system and begin calibration. Part No REV. A, Date: Page 11 of 11
