1 Using TestFlight to install DIRECTV NOW BETA on Apple TV 1.0 Important notes before you begin Install the DIRECTV NOW Beta application on your iphone or ipad prior to setting up your Apple TV (Please refer to Appendix on page 5 for iphone/ipad setup instructions) To download the DIRECTV NOW Beta application on multiple Apple devices, ensure you are logged into all devices with the same Apple ID. You can have up to 10 Apple devices on one TestFlight account all associated with the same Apple ID. You will receive notifications to the associated with your DIRECTV NOW subscribed account when new app versions become available for the DIRECTV NOW Beta app. 2.0 Installing the DIRECTV NOW Beta App on your Apple TV 1. From the Apple TV Home Screen, open the App Store 2. 5 APPENDIX Using TestFlight to install DIRECTV NOW BETA on ios Devices 1.0 How to prep your ios device for downloading beta app Ensure your Location is set to On under Settings (steps below) Device Settings > General > Privacy > Location Services TOGGLE ON If downloading beta app on multiple Apple devices, ensure you are logged into all devices with the same Apple ID. TestFlight can be loaded on up to 10 devices. 2.0 Download TestFlight from the Apple App Store 1. Open App Store on your Apple device 2. Search for testflight 3. 8 Frequently Asked Questions: 1. I tried to redeem my invitation on a second device but TestFlight says it s already been used, but I still need a redemption code. What do I do? Once you have accepted your invitation by clicking on the Start Testing link, your Apple ID will be associated with your TestFlight account. When installing the beta app on additional device(s) you just need to be sure you re using the same Apple ID on each of your devices to download and log in to TestFlight. If you follow that requirement the beta app will be available when you open TestFlight without you entering a code. 2. How can I tell what devices are associated with my Apple ID? On the startup page of TestFlight, click on your Apple ID at the bottom of the page. This should then bring up a page listing all of the devices associated with your Apple ID, and give you a chance to delete any of them you are no longer using. 3. Is the version I see in TestFlight the latest version? Yes. TestFlight always has the latest version available to you as a tester. Please note: there is no way to re-download an earlier version of the app after you ve updated to a new build. 4. My Apple ID is the address I use on my ios device and I don t want to reveal it. TestFlight can be set up with any address that you use. You can then forward the invitation you receive to your ios device privately or use a Redemption Code.
