To be sure that your District maintains a proper audit trail, PowerSchool recommends that all IEPPLUS forms be finalized upon completion. Only work-inprogress forms should remain un-finalized. Version September 4, 2018 IEP Added the MA Billing Consent Form to the IEP report. Version August 7, 2018 No changes. Version July 24, 2018 Advanced Reporting : PIMS Snapshot Version 45 - Updated the PIMS Snapshot to properly find duplicate disabilities based on overlapping dates with the same priority within the report date range. PIMS special education report : Service Provider pulling older record Updated the Service Provider sqls to pull the most recent Organization Association record if there are two within the date range. 3 Feb 01, 2018 Reporting Corrected and issue where the inactivated list report was blank and now the report does not appear to be blank. IEP Corrected an issue where the inactive staff was showing up on the student. Now the system shows only the active staff unless the show inactive checkbox is checked otherwise. Version /05/2017 Custom Form Updated the Custom Form to allow the textbox variable to be null, it print the error on print preview on the form. Text box issue Corrected an issue where buttons were superimposing over text boxes. This is a browserdependent issue, primarily evident in IE 9. Form Creation Report Corrected an issue where you receive a selection formula error when printing the Form Creation Report from Run a Report. Student Drawer Updated student drawer to resolve the issue with the attendance view year in eschoolplus 4.0. Progress Reports Notification Fixed issue where the client received daily notifications for all the students who did not get a summer progress report IEP - Transition Services Corrected an issue where access to drop down lists was being prevented by a duplicated 'Char Count' display. 4 IEP - Assessments Fixed an with where check box information With Accommodations or Without Accommodation is printing on report in accommodations to be provided area when it shouldn't. Deactivate student utility Corrected an error occurring due to progress reports when attempting to deactivate a student. IEP - Progress Corrected an issue where clicking on the progress link caused an error to appear on the IEP. IEP - Transition Section Corrected an issue on the web form where the column headers were not aligned with the columns. GIEP Corrected an issue where Section II did not print when and SDI was missing. Version /11/2017 Rich Text correction An overhaul of the Rich Text editor has corrected the following issues: Pasting from outside sources such as MS Word or other web pages often brings in nonsense HTML. Entering content in one browser then opening/modifying it in another can often create broken HTML. Strike-through functionality, when manually entered in the text boxes, was not saving properly. Inactivated List Report Updated the report to properly display the correct count of students who are inactive. Case List Report Updated the report to properly pull the latest important date of ER or RR. Version /31/2017 Rich Text Fields Updated data utility to properly handle the justification for rich text boxes. NOTE: This change is only for 4.3 rich-text clients only Version August 18, 2017 Editing Document Attachments Fixed issue where the user was receiving an error when trying to override an existing document attachment which was creating multiple copies of one document. FBA The FBA Report's Data Collection section was extended to force the margin to word wrap properly. IEP Corrected the word deficit in IEP Report's Positive Behavior Support Plan section. Version August 2, 2017 Unfinalized Form Report Unfinalized form report no longer time out and runs correctly. Data Integration For returning to special education student Placement grade and location for populate correctly when student is referred from eschoolplus and first time integration runs. 6 Maintenance -> Manage Staff Fixed issue where blank spaces were found in Manage Staff under Maintenance. This only effects how Staff names are displayed. Version July 18, 2017 Mass Lock/Finalize The following upgrades have been added to the mass lock/finalize area: A new 'Select All Students' option has been added to lock all unlocked forms of the selected type with the selected report. The process was modified to include all 'important date' finalization. The process has been changed to lock documents one at a time at 3 second intervals, with options to allow users to continue or stop the process. PIMS Advance Reporting When student exited before turning 14, student will no longer get reported on PIMS report. PIMS report now calculate student's age as of enrollment end date if student exited, otherwise as of reporting date. Validation rule not failing when it should Fixed issue where validation rule was passing because it was looking for a form name like '%Revise%' instead of checking to see if the form has ever been revised. Version July 11, 2017 Referral calculation Fixed issue where calculation was adding an extra day or two to the total. Also added an application option record (Application, Referral, Add One Day) to configure the calculation to add one day or not to add one day when performing the calculation. Defaulted this value to Yes to mimic current functionality. Rich text textboxes Resolved the issue where information copied from Word into IEPPLUS 'rich text' text boxes was incorrectly formatted. FBA Resolved an issue where the service date changes wouldn't save, causing incorrect placements. Version June 26, Plan Fixed issue where the parents' names are not being saved on the Section 504 Accommodation Plan form. IEP Form Validation Changed logic if one of the following conditions is met for each primary placement of an IEP: Placement does not have a building There is no active "Home School" The "Home School" does not match the placement building AND the location of program question = "No" The "Home School" does match the placement building AND the location of program question = "Yes" PWN Evaluation Report Fixed issue where the Date Sent and Child Name fields were overlapping on the report after clicking Print Preview. 8 IEP - Placement Staff Fixed issue where if the Placement Staff Position = "Hearing Support Teacher" within the IEP Date Range and the user got an error when navigating to IEP -> Educational Placement. Penn Data Extract Report - 8A Initial Evaluations Fixed issue where the Penn Date Extract - Initial Evaluations report was showing the Referred Special Ed Decision Date before their Special Education Start Date. The Decision Date is based off the Last ER and needs to be set manually. PIMS Snapshot Updated PIMS Snapshot to properly pull in the missing students when they have multiple enrollment with the same start date but different types. It will now find the latest Special Education enrollment type. IEP Validation Rule 48002: Corrected rule description to 'check that IEP Meeting Date is no later than 30 calendar days of Date of ER Report'. IEP PBSP - Assessment Summary Fixed a typo in the header of the last section where the word "deficit" was misspelled as "defit(s)". Version June 8, 2017 IEPPLUS 4.3 Rebranding Removed "PLUS 360" and "a PLUS 360 Application" text from the IEPPLUS 4.3 page header banner. IEP Resolved an issue where Main section revision area was not displaying data. IEP - Present Levels section cs Resolved an issue on the Present Levels section of the IEP where two users entering present level data at the same time would cause the present levels text boxes to stop working. 9 Removed an issue where the page would print with header only, and start the section on the next page. Version May 25, 2017 Rich text boxes Resolved an issue where html tags were present when Word document items were pasted into the form. Advance reporting, PA_IEP_Accommodations Accommodations now show correctly in the extract and matches the webform and report. PennData reporting Updated the report to properly report the 6to21 FTE. PIMS reporting Resolved an issue in the report where students were not appearing due to a date calculation. PIMS Snapshot Update PIMS Snapshot export to properly add the missing comma for field 72. Version May 16, 2017 SIF Stored Procedure Resolved an issue in SIF process where randomly active enrollment records for students were being created in IEPPLUS. Data Integration Rule: 'esp Plan Rule #2' The rule no longer displays the error 'Subquery returned more than 1 value'. PA IEP Resolved an issue where program modification information was appearing in the Accommodation section. 10 PA IEP Validation Resolved an issue within the IEP where validation errors were not presenting proper information. Version April 28, 2017 PA IEP Accommodation section: Validation rule no longer fail when Reading assessment is not entered as reading assessment is covered under ELA. Updated the PA IEP Report to no longer look at the Category of "Accommodations" to pull in the statements for the PASA/PSSA Accommodations, it will now look for any category that as the word Accommodation listed. It will now match the web form. PA PWN Initial and Reevaluation Forms A date control has been added Parent Signature Date field in the Parent Consent section. This date will then be used to create the Consent Received Date. Progress Reporting In the past, users were able to enter progress notes for future objectives. Recently, the progress report was modified to only show objectives that start prior to the marking period date for each marking period. As a result, any data that had been entered for future objectives was no longer being shown. The Progress Report was modified to show that data so that it can be modified or deleted, if necessary. New progress still cannot be entered for future objectives. Rich Textbox in IE10 Rich Textboxes will no longer display unaligned text as center aligned in IE10. Version April 18, 2017 Custom Form Corrected the issue in Firefox where the newly entered text did not appear unless save was selected. PA PIMS The following changes have been made to the PIMS report in PA: Checkbox label has been changed to 'July Submission' Copyright PowerSchool Group, LLC and/or its affiliate(s). 11 o If the 'July Submission' checkbox is not checked, then all active special ed students are displayed in the report o If the 'July Submission' checkbox is checked, the following report criteria changes: All students who are special education (active/inactive sometime in the date range) that are 14 years of age or older OR All students who are special education (active/inactive sometime in the date range) regardless of age who have the 'Transition Plan' question marked Yes in the Transition Services section of the IEP Added five new columns in the report from the PIMS Reporting questions in the Transition Services section of the IEP o Transition IEP Status Code (45) o Transition IEP (Paid Work Based Learning) (73) o Transition IEP (Job Supports/Coaching) (74) o Transition IEP (Career Dev/Job Exploration) (75) o Transition IEP (Modified) (76) New errors are displayed based off those five new fields on the report Penndata Table 2 & 3 has been modified to select staff data correctly on the report. Version March 30, 2017 Rich Textbox Updated the page to display as a full screen instead of a small window. Internet Explorer, set to auto update, caused a problem with the display in their latest version. The page has been updated to detect if the client is running Internet Explorer 11 and forced it to Edge mode instead of IE9 to eliminate this problem. Users can now copy and paste data into a rich text box in the latest browser version of Firefox. Please Note: You must 'save' after pasting text from another document prior to adding additional text, text formatting or any aligning of text. IEP Transition Services: Updated web form to display all the services/activities attached to the transition goal. It wasn't display the info if the category is blank. Validation Rules : Updated validation rules to validate the assessments and accommodations correctly in the Participation in Assessments section. Statements Update screen to load goals properly when there are progress attached. Reporting, Timely Eligibility Report w/calendar Updated the report screen to save selected referral type. Manage Staff Updated the Staff summary screen to properly show inactivated staff members as "Yes" for the column that reports inactive. Manage Meeting Staff Added a trigger to delete the contact ID in the meetings staff table when the actual contact has been removed from the student. Custom Forms Updated the Custom Forms to properly show linefeeds in the print preview. Version March 8, 2017 ER Report Updated report to print out contact's qualification as part of the contact name, i.e. Jr. IEP ->Participation in Assessments Updated IEP, Participation in Assessments, to properly reflect the accommodations selected for the Validated Local Assessments. Run a Report Service List Report: Modified the service list report to increase performance when returning results and export faster. Basic List: Corrected duplicate placement issue on the report when there are multiple disabilities or placement staff. Staff Management Fixed the issue with the staff screen to allow the users to inactivate the staff member(s). Version February 17, 2017 IEP Updated IEP report to correct the PSSA Math Accommodations from showing text in the Program Modifications section when the subcategory was set to Math. PA IEP Validation Updated validation rule to validate a form that ends less than one year minus one day form the meeting date. Progress Report Updated report to not exclude goals ended prior to the progress reporting period date. Advanced Reporting PA IEP Accommodations Updated the PA IEP Accommodations extract to pull the building according to the Placement Start and End Date. 14 Student Summary, Grade and Location Updated student summary toolbar to display the latest current grade and location when a student has multiple open ended enrollment records; it was displaying the oldest first. Version February 1, 2017 Penn Data Advanced Reporting Fixed issue where the FTE 3to5 on the Table 3 Report was showing -1. Version January 25, 2017 IEP Validation - PIMS Transition IEP, Transition Services, PIMS Reporting Section has been modified to display five (5) new questions. Validation rules ( ) are now available and turned on. All questions in this section must be answered to pass validation. Advanced Reporting Corrected all reports with the 'As of Date' that did not select data after the update. Version January 20, 2017 IEP IEP, Transition Services Section: This section has been modified to display five (5) new questions for PIMS reporting. These questions can now be answered during the IEP creation and will not print on the student's IEP. This modification enables staff to enter data now for future reporting. 15 Participation in Assessments/Accommodations: Updated IEP->Participation in Assessments to show the accommodations that are selected even if the goals statement does not have a subcategory. IEP Validation Rule Updated validation rule #48003 to error if the IEP end date is not one year minus a day from the original meeting date. Gifted IEP Updated the Gifted IEP Report to correct where text was being cutoff in the goals section. Advanced Reporting - Penn Data (Version 47) Updated Advanced Reporting - Penn Data to fix erroneous error message ''Age_6to21 is not part of the SPIPUBLIC.SR_PennData_Extract_Standard_Staff' PLUS360 Notification Enhanced the notification rule, Progress Past Due, by added a 'Historical Day' and 'Low Day' search option to the Gifted Progress Past Due rule. ACTION ITEM: If you wish to restrict the number of notifications for this rule, please go to Set System-wide Option, Set Notification Options, System Setup Tab, and update the values in this field. Student Summary Grade and location now display on the student summary screen when the system option, show enrollment grade and location is not enabled; the system will display the grade and location from the placement record. Generic Report: Student Labels 3 columns by placement report Modified the grouping on this report to use the appropriate Organization field (e.g. placement or enrollment depending on your state). It will no longer display an error message of 'The field name is not known Enrollment_Organization.OR_Name'. Version December 23, 2016 IEP, Accommodations Section A minor change has been made on how accommodations are saved in the IEP to be able to report on them. 16 Advanced Reporting PA_IEP_Accommodations: A new advanced report export to Excel has been created to display all IEP student accommodations based on an active date (ie today). This report can be filtered by Building, Grade, Staff and Accommodation for all Type(s) or specific areas (such as: PSSA, Keystone Exam, Keystone Projected Based Assessment, Validated Local Assessment, ACCESS for ELLS or Alternative ACCESS for ELLS). Run a Report: Basic List Report: Updated the report to increase performance on generating and exporting the pdf/excel file. Form Creation List by User Report: Updated the report to increase performance on generating and exporting the pdf/excel file. Progress Reporting: Goals, objective or benchmarks will now display only when the marking period is on or after the start date. For Example: IEP goes from 4/1/15-3/31/16; the Progress marking periods are: 5/1/15, 6/15/15, 10/15/15, 1/15/16. The goal or objective date range is 5/15/15-12/31/15. This statement will start to display in the marking periods 6/15/15 or later as the first prior marking periods starts prior to the goal/objective start date. Options, Manage Progress Reporting: o The ability to change a Progress Reporting date, even if data exists for that progress date, is now available for administrators. This will enable administrators to change the progress due to snow storms for example. A warning message will appear advising this will change the reporting date for all students using that template. o The ability to not require Progress Code drop down selection is now available. Depending on how you have things setup, you can indicate where Progress Code drop downs are 'Not Used or Not Required' in addition to the progress text box. 17 ACTION ITEM: You will want to go into Options, Manage Progress Reporting, General Options and setup your districts preferences. Printing Progress Report: o A report change has been made to include printing of all periods, including final, when the Print as of Date is greater than the IEP range. For Example: My IEP went from 10/28/13-4/7/14, printing with as of today, 10/21/16, printed all periods including 'Final'. I did not have to enter the original end date of the amended IEP. Using a print as of date of 4/4/14, progress will only print up to that date. o The Objective heading will now only display the objective number (ie Objective # 1.4) instead of Academic Objective - Objective #1.4 for example. Documentation Updated: Progress Reporting Admin Guide, Progress Reporting User Manual Version December 9, 2016 IEP, Form Information for Revised IEP Modified Form Information to provide the ability for users with security of Administration Authority access the reset dates links and date range fields on a Revised/Amended IEP. IEP Validation Updated Validation Rule #48001 to fail if the IEP Implementation date is prior to the meeting date, except for amendments. PA Penn Data Table #3 Updated the Penn Data Table #3 Report to show the FTE 3to5 and FTE 6to21 for each staff member. 18 Utilities, Mass Update Staff The Mass Update Utility for Service Staff has been modified to not return an error message of 'Multiple Staff found' when staff on a service has the same staff member listed multiple times with start date and end dates. The process will now replace only the active staff member as of the 'active as of' date indicated. System Options, Set Student Access Option, StudentAccessGracePeriod It will no longer display an error when the Grace period is only a single digit and a user tries to add or edit new user or group in the security section. Data Integration- Rule: eschoolplus- Race (Multiple) This rule will no longer download the percentage into the race field in error when the user accidently blanks out the percentage field in IEPPLUS. Version November 23, 2016 Support Link The support link has been updated to go directly to https//support.sungardk12.com. Version November 10, 2016 Data Integration Rule: esp - Inactivation Rule #2 Modified this rule to inactive a student in IEPPLUS when a student's enrollment record has (or does not have ) an enrollment start date. Evaluation Report and Reevaluation Report Updated report to print the attached images correctly. Penn Data Table 1,2 & 3 Updated Penn Data Table 1, Table 2 and Table 3 (Staff) to exclude specific staff if the Staff has an FTE set to' 0.00' as per documentation. 19 Version October 28, 2016 Permission to Waive - Important Dates Updated the Permission to Waive Reevaluation form to generate Important Dates of 'Last Waiver' and 'Projected Next RR' as per documentation. Data Integration Rule: esp Plan Rule #2 Updated data integration rule to check for record existence before insert into the REG_PROGRAMS table to avoid the primary key violation error. Improve System Performance We have improved the loading of all forms in IEPPLUS by optimizing the query that counts the number of files attached to a student and/or the number of characters in a text box when the form is loaded. Version October 18, 2016 IEP Validation Rule # Check for valid Anticipated Duration of Services and Programs: Updated this rule to properly calculate the date range when the meeting date is in a leap year. This rule was also modified to not run if the IEP was amended/updated. PWN Initial Evaluation/Reevaluation Updated the web form and report (including Spanish) to show the Student ID after the Student Name. Student Summary Screen Updated the Summary Screen to show the address of the student contact. If the address is the same as the student it will display 'Same as student'. If the address is different, it will display that address. 20 Updated data integration rule 504 Plan Rule #2, to upload a unique 504 enrollment records. It was duplicating the enrollment records if there were multiple alternate codes. Version September 30, 2016 Advance Reporting - Student Cost Modified this report to exclude Section 504 and Gifted enrollment records. IEP Validation Validation rule#48283 will now also look at the 'Does not apply ' checkbox under SE Related Services section. Version September 16, 2016 All PA Form Reports Updated all letter reports in PA reports to no longer overlap the client logo. IEP Report IEP Team/Signatures Section: The IEP report has changed to reflect the original IEP Team members and subsequent amendment meeting team members. Progress Reporting Past Due: If you do not wish Progress Reporting to send a reminder for an IEP that starts x number of days (ie 30 days) before the next progress reporting period, entering a number in 'Low Day' will count the days and determine whether to skip this marking period for that student and not send a message. Historical days identifies how far back it should report missing progress.
