3 OVERVIEW PARCC accommodations are entered into a student s IEP, PARCC Paper-Based or Computer-Based Accessibility Features and Accommodation forms. These forms indicate whether the accommodation is for ELA or Math. In addition, several fields also have drop downs to report additional information required by ISBE. For Example: 2016 CHANGES The form and extract have been updated to match the latest form from ISBE. Existing IEP s will continue to report data based on the original, finalized IEP. Reported only for Grades 3-8. PLEASE NOTE: Amending an IEP, and not clicking on the PARCC pages, will continue to report existing data. However, if a user goes into the PARCC pages, the program will clear out the old data and staff will need to re-enter PARCC information on the new form which will then be uploaded to eschoolplus. SETTING UP IEPPLUS FOR PARCC REPORTING PARCC FORMS Turn on access to PARCC forms in IEPPLUS, System Options, Form, IEP Form Options, by indicating that you wish to use and print PARCC forms. This option will enable the forms in the IEP. Add Security, Permission, to the PARCC forms to the appropriate group/users. Page 3 of 16

4 Finalized IEP s: Data Integration will only upload finalized IEP s once enabled. If a student has a prior Finalized IEP and a current unfinalized IEP, the system will continue to report the last finalized IEP PARCC Accommodations. DATA INTEGRATION CONFIGURATION To turn on Data Integration, please enter a support case when all students have PARCC Accommodations in place. o IMPORTANT (READ TWICE!): You will need to insure ALL students have PARCC accommodations in place PRIOR to turning on the data integration option!! If eschoolplus has PARCC data and your last finalized IEP does not, eschoolplus will be overwritten with blank information. Please plan turning on this option accordingly! There is no 'undo.' o There are two Data Integration Rules: PARCC Upload and PARCC Delete. The process is to remove all PARCC information from eschoolplus Screen 1055 and reenter data based on the latest IEP information as of today. The Refresh PLUS 360 button will also upload the latest finalized IEP PARCC data into eschoolplus, if data integration is turned on. INTEGRATION RULES esp Upload PARCC Data For a specific student, this rule will insert all eschoolplus ''REG_USER'' records with a screen number of ''1055'' and field number IN (6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,28,29,30,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,4 4,45,46) esp Delete PARCC Data For a specific student, this rule will remove all eschoolplus ''REG_USER'' records with a screen number of ''1055'' and field number IN (6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,28,29,30,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43,4 4,45,46) essp Delete PARCC Data Inactive Students This rule will clear PARCC data from eschoolplus Screen 1055 for special education students who have been inactivated in IEPPLUS. 16 PARCC Resource Information: ISBE Pre-ID File: This document identifies the Pre-ID file that eschoolplus is exporting and identifies the drop down code numbers needed. (Note: IEPPLUS does not upload data from pages 1 & 2.) PARCC Forms: ISBE link to the latest forms Note: These forms are located inside IEPPLUS, Student, IEP Form, PARCC Paper & Computer based Section. Unfortunately the PARCC forms have MANY more rows than the Pre-ID file. With the help of our school districts we have matched the Pre-ID file to the individual rows as best we can as outlined in this document. RELEASE HISTORY 03/06/2017: Updated documentation to match ISBE 1/2017 version. New rows added, some additional drop downs added, two new upload rules for Screen 1055, Fields 18, 21 & 8. 10/14/2016: Form & Upload changes to match ISBE 8/2016 version. 06/08/2016: Addition of a new Data Integration Rule to remove PARCC data from screen 1055 for Inactive students.
