2 Based on pre-bid meeting for Purchase of Computer Hardware & Other Peripherals Under Buyback Arrangement For indextb (Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar & Delhi), held on 16 th February, 2016 at 12:30 PM in the Conference Room of indextb, a Corrigendum is now issued as under. A. Point 42 Repeat Order appearing in tender document on page no. 10 is now substituted as under : Within one year time period from the date of Work Order issued, successful Bidder will agree to supply items under repeat order at the same rate quoted in Section II, Form T1 - (Form E-7). In place of Successful Bidder will agree to supply items under repeat order at the same rate quoted in Section II, Form T1 - (Form E-7). B. In addition to 3 points Note mentioned on page 50, following remark is added. Offered Storage Array shall be given with minimum of 64GB cache in a single unit. Cache shall be used only for Data and Control information. OS overhead shall not be done inside cache. d. If Flash cache is not supported inside the storage array then vendor shall ensure that offered storage array shall be scalable to minimum of 128GB DRAM cache without any replacement or upgrade of controllers. The storage array shall support Automated tieringofdatawithminimum3tier swith SSD, SAS and NLSAS disks. The array should have provision to define monitoring and data movement timings for tiering. Bidder will have to provide tiering license from day one Offered Storage Subsystem shall support Raid1+0, 5 and Raid 6 with Dual Parity Protection" Offered Storage array shall be configured with array based Snapshot and clone functionality. Offered Storage array shall support atleast 512 point in time of single volume. The array shall have support for controlling host performance by IOPs & MB/s. The storage array shall support Automated tiering of data with between different type of Drives. The array should have provision to define monitoring and data movement timings for tiering. Bidder will have to provide tiering license from day one. Offered Storage system should support data protection using following mechanisms: 1. RAID 1+0 / Mirroring 2. RAID 5 / Using single party drive protection in a RAID group and 3. RAID 6 / Using double parity drive protection in a RAID group. Mix and match of disks and RAID levels shall be supported. Offered Storage array shall support atleast 256 point in time of single volume. The array shall have support for controlling host performance by IOPs & MB/s. Thin Re-claim (Zero Page reclaim) inside storage subsystem shall be automatic in nature and there shall be no need to run any utility inside storage for same. Thin Re-claim inside storage shall not cause any overloading of Storage CPU and shall be able to claim the Zero pages even during peak load without any performance impact For effective capacity utilization, thin reclaim maximum unit shall be 16KB. Vendor shall provide the documentary proof for same. Offered storage array shall be tightly integrated with VMware so that Eager zero disks layout can be used with thin provisioning and thin re-claim. 5. Tape Auto Loader Backup Tape Library Tape Auto Loader Backup Tape Library The proposed backup solution should be available on various OS platforms such as Windows, Linux and UNIX platforms. 6. Backup Software (Server) The proposed backup solution should be available on various OS platforms such as Windows, Linux and UNIX platforms. The backup software should be capable to supporting 99,999 backup sessions in day. 7. Backup Software for Clients It should allow Low disk space error messages on LUDF and NUDF to be turned off. Zero percent threshold value should be allowed to stop getting low disk error messages on machines with huge storage. Offered storage array shall be supplied with Thin provisioning and Thin Re- claim to make the volume thin for an extended period of time for complete array supported raw capacity. In tender document on page no. 25 Item appearing is now substituted as under : 5. Tape Backup Library The proposed backup solution should be available on Windows 2012 Data Centre Edition R2 and in future upgradable Operating System support for any Windows Server Edition.
