2 1.0 SCOPE: This specification provides for Supply of desktop computer along with accessories, UPS and printer for GETCO s DAS System. The purpose of installation of DAS PC supported by operating System Window XP Professional with service pack 3 at sub-station level to poll the DAS energy meters data to PC on MODBUS protocol with RS-485 interface from meter to RS 232 (serial 9 pin D type connector) interface of computer by providing RS 485 to RS 232 convertor. 2.0 SPECIFICATION FOR DESKTOP COMPUTER: Sr. No. Descriptions of items 1. Intel original mother Board with supported chipset for above mention processor with at least one serial port header and 3 Nos. PCI Conventional bus connector in addition to PCI Express 2.0 X 1 & PCI Express 2.0 X 16 connectors available with mother board. Or Intel original mother Board with supported chipset for above mention processor With 3 PCI Conventional bus connector and 2 Nos. PCI Express 2.0 X 1 & 1 No. PCI Express 2.0 X 16 connectors. 320 GB SATA HDD 7200 RPM or higher. Make: Seagate 2 GB DDR MHz Expandable to 32 GB LCD color monitor with TCO 05 certification. The certification should be listed on TCO development web site. The monitor should be of same make as offered PC. Ports Minimum 6 USB 2.0 (2 fronts and 4 back), 4Nos: RS-232 serial com port with 9-pin D- type connector. (Out of 4 Nos. 1 No. on Board and remaining 3 Nos. with PCI to single RS 232 serial COM Port with 9 pin D type connector on PCI conventional BUS Connector only with single RS232 serial comport card per single PCI slot. ) or Ports Minimum 6 USB 2.0 (2 fronts and 4 back), 4Nos: RS-232 serial com port with 9-pin D- type connector through PCI / PCI Express to serial port card. Minimum three (3) years of comprehensive on site maintenance service support. The OEM shall have to give undertaking letter for the same with technical bid and details of service centre network in Gujarat. The tender must have FCC, UL, ISO 9001 & ISO certification. All this certificates should get enclosed with technical bid. Anti virus Software: Make: Quick Heal (Total Security)/ Symantec/ Mac fee Specifications of antivirus Antivirus software shall have a 3 in 1 protection of Antivirus, Anti spy ware and Firewall. This will continuously protect the PC from viruses, spy wares, and hackers. Antivirus software is protection for PC. Antivirus software shall be upgraded regularly. Most of the computers will be distributed to remote place that do not have internet and hence it is required to update the antivirus OFF LINE with the help of Pen drive. Antivirus Detects and removes viruses, worms and Trojans automatically. Protects the files, scans and cleans spy wares and blocking their activities of identity theft automatically. Antispyware Blocks spy wares before they get installed on the PC. Protects the privacy by detecting and cleaning spy wares and blocking their activities of identity theft automatically. Firewall Daily automatic updates Detects and removes complex Spy wares and Trojans Detects and removes latest ad wares, dialers, bots and risk wares DNAS can technology takes care of new unknown malwares even before the signature update is available. The printer shall work properly after refilling of cartridge and no software or hardware change shall require to be made for proper working of the printer. 3(A). SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDER Please read following instructions carefully before submitting your bid. 1. Complete technical broacher comprising the technical datasheet, configuration layout each for Desktop Computer (i.e. ATX cabinet front & back plane layout + Motherboard + HDD + DVD + SMPS), UPS and Printer for the offered system with accessories shall be submitted with the offer. 2. Please note that the evaluation will be carried out on the strength of content of bid only. No further correspondence will be made. 3. The bidder shall bring out all the technical deviation/s only at the specified annexure. 3 (B). QUALIFYING REQUIREMENT DATA (For Supply) Bidder shall have to satisfy all the following requirements. 1) The bidder shall be Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). 2) The minimum Quantity of the system comprises Desktop computer, UPS and printer, the bidder have supplied to the GUVNL/Subsidiary Companies of GUVNL /Other state power utilities/government organization during last THREE Years shall be 2.5 times the tender quantity 3) The bidder shall have to submit the satisfactory performance certificate of GUVNL/Subsidiary Companies of GUVNL/Other state power utilities/government organization for the system supplied during each year for last three years with latest up to year Page 4 of 7

5 4) The bidder should clearly indicate the quantity and Single Value Contract executed during last FIVE (5) years for the System. Bidder should have executed one single contract during last five years for the quantity equivalent to tender bid.
