Instaers shoud seect to Run As Administrator when aunching an instaation executabe. Intended host computers meet or exceed the minimum system requirements. For information on certified versions of patform components, refer to the Orace Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management System Certification Matrix at fusioncertification htm. Microsoft.NET Framework 4.0 and 4.5 are required and are a prerequisite ony for a machine that does not have an internet connection. If the.net Framework is not instaed and you do have an internet connection, then the Data Reationship Management instaer wi insta them for you. Database server is instaed and running on the database computer. Internet Information Services (IIS) is instaed and operationa on the Web server. User accounts that can perform these actions are avaiabe on the appication server: m m m m Edit registry settings Read and write to the oca fie system Launch processes Run as a service 11

16 Figure 5 Data Reationship Management with EPM Mobie Orace Database Prerequisites If you are using an Orace RAC database system, you must create the tabespaces with the appropriate RDBMS software prior to instaation. Whether the scripts are run automaticay or manuay, a user with DBA rights must be ogged in. When you manuay execute the database scripts, the User ID that was designated for Data Reationship Management database connectivity in the Repository Wizard is created in the RDBMS (if it does not aready exist). The user is assigned a defaut tabespace of DRM_DATA and must have access rights to the foowing items: m Defaut tabespace (usuay DRM_DATA) 16

17 m m m m m UNLIMITED TABLESPACE CONNECT CREATE ANY SEQUENCE CREATE USER ALTER USER When you manuay execute the database scripts, the user is ogged in as the schema owner which, has a defaut tabespace of DRM_DATA. This user must have access rights to the foowing items: m m m m m m m Defaut tabespace (usuay DRM_DATA) this can be done after the insta if the tabespaces were not created. UNLIMITED TABLESPACE DBA CONNECT CREATE ANY SEQUENCE CREATE USER ALTER USER You can change the schema owner name during the instaation process. SQL Server Database Prerequisites If you are using a SQL Server Custer database system, you must create the database with the appropriate RDBMS software prior to instaation. If the User ID designated for Data Reationship Management database connectivity is created manuay prior to the instaation, it is important to make this user database owner of the Data Reationship Management database. PDF Font Requirement for Asian Gyphs To be abe to see Asian gyphs in downoaded PDF fies, the "Aria Unicode MS" font must be instaed on the Web server. Virtua Memory Pagefie Sizing To ensure proper performance, it is strongy recommended that Windows pagefie size on the Data Reationship Management server be at east 1.5 times system memory with growth aowed up to 2.0 times system memory. When system memory is arge (for exampe, 64 GB and higher) the pagefie can be between 1.0 and 1.5 times system memory. Smaer pagefie sizes can resut in serious performance and functiona issues. 17

See Creating a Repository on page Cick Save Configuration. 4 From the Loca Service menu, cick Start to start the Data Reationship Management service. When you add a new appication, the appication is created with standard defaut parameters. The defaut appication name is generated from the computer name. Setting the Appication Defaut Cuture You can set the defaut cuture used for each Data Reationship Management appication. The defaut cuture is used for ocaization of the Web cient if the setting cannot be determined from the Web browser. ä To set the defaut cuture for an appication: 1 In the Data Reationship Management Configuration Consoe, seect an appication. 2 From Defaut Cuture seect an option: en-us Engish fr-fr French de-de German ja-jp Japanese ko-kr Korean zh-chs Simpified Chinese 26

27 Date, Time, and Number Formatting Formatting of date, time, and number property data vaues in the Data Reationship Management user interface is determined by two factors: The anguage setting of the Data Reationship Management cient computer's browser The Regiona Options settings defined for the Data Reationship Management service ogon account on the Data Reationship Management appication server computer. The Data Reationship Management Web Cient session information incudes the user's cuture as defined in the browser's anguage setting. The data vaue formatting dispayed at the cient for the requested cuture is determined by how the corresponding cuture formatting is defined on the Data Reationship Management server for the Regiona Options of the DRM service ogon account. The cient operating system's Regiona Options settings do not affect data formatting in the user interface. Simiary, the Data Reationship Management Batch Cient parameter "/CutureName" aows you to specify the cuture format as you woud via the browser anguage. And as with the Web cient, the data vaue formatting is determined by how the corresponding cuture is defined on the Data Reationship Management server for the Data Reationship Management service ogon account. For Exampe AData Reationship Management Web Cient browser anguage is set to "en-us". You are ogged into the Data Reationship Management server as the Data Reationship Management service ogon account and the corresponding Regiona Options cuture "Engish (United States)" has the short date format "MM/dd/yyyy". Dates in the Data Reationship Management cient user interface are dispayed in the format "MM/dd/yyyy". The defaut ogon account for the Data Reationship Management Server Processes service is "Loca System". To view or customize the Regiona Options used by Data Reationship Management, the Data Reationship Management service ogon account shoud be changed from Loca System to a oca Administrator account. This enabes you to og onto the server as the service account and view or modify the Regiona Options that the Data Reationship Management service uses. Creating a Repository The Repository Wizard in the Configuration Consoe aows you to create a new repository or upgrade a repository. The defaut is 60 seconds. For Command Timeout, enter the number of seconds to wait for a command to execute before canceing the command and generating an error. The defaut is 900 seconds. 6 Cick Next. Setting the timeout vaue to zero indicates no timeout is used. These settings are saved in the drm-config.xm and are used by the engines when they start. To perform arge operations (such as a arge version deete), set the Command Timeout to a arger vaue than the defaut. Cick Test Connection. 7 Do one of the foowing: For an Orace database, continue to the next step. For a SQL Server database, go to Creating a SQL Server Database on page Enter the user id and password which wi be created as the schema owner for the Data Reationship Management repository. 9 Accept the defaut tabespace settings or make changes and cick Next. It is highy recommended that dedicated tabespaces be used for Data, Indexes, Transactions, and Properties. The defaut tabespace names may aready be in use, and wi be re-used if a new tabespace name is not specified. 10 On the Appication Administrator Creation page, enter a password for the Administrator user and cick Next. 28

29 11 On the Create Repository Confirmation page, review the settings and cick Next to start the creation process. When the database has been created a success message is dispayed. 12 Cick Next. After configuration, the Data Reationship Management web appication can be accessed using the foowing URL: Terminating SSL at the Web Server You can use SSL secure communication from a cient's Web browser and the IIS Data Reationship Management Web appication drm-web-cient using Orace HTTP Server (OHS). In this configuration, the cient s browser communicates with OHS via the HTTPS protoco and OHS acts as a proxy and communicates with the Data Reationship Management Web appication via HTTP. See Terminating SSL at the Web Server in the Orace Enterprise Performance Management System Security Configuration Guide. Using Singe Sign On with Data Reationship Management Singe Sign On (SSO) for Data Reationship Management requires various components to be instaed and configured. In a typica Web SSO environment, a Web identity management soution contros authentication and authorization for one or more independent software systems. The goa of SSO is to aow a user to gain access to the various independent systems without being prompted for a ogin for each system. Data Reationship Management impements SSO by utiizing Shared Services, a web identity management soution (such as Orace Access Manager), and an externa user directory (such as Orace Internet Directory or Microsoft Active Directory). A mix of SSO and non-sso appications is not supported on a singe server. Use the foowing steps to insta and configure SSO: Task Reference 1. Configure Shared Services with an externa user directory. See Configuring OID, Active Directory, and other LDAP-based User Directories in the Orace Enterprise Performance Management System User Security Administration Guide. 42

43 Task Reference 2. Configure Shared Services for SSO. See Configuring EPM System for SSO in the Orace Enterprise Performance Management System Security Configuration Guide. 3. Insta Data Reationship Management. See Instaing Data Reationship Management on page In the Data Reationship Management Configuration Consoe, configure Data Reationship Management for CSS authentication mode and enabe SSO. 5. Configure a Web identity management soution to protect the Data Reationship Management Web appication and use the same externa user directories configured in Shared Services. See Configuring Host Computers on page 31. See Web Access Management on page 43. For more information, see Web Access Management. Web Access Management The Data Reationship Management Web appication resources must be protected so that any request to the Web appication is redirected to a Web access management appication, such as Orace Access Manager. After a user authenticates with the security agent using basic authentication, the agent forwards the request to the Data Reationship Management Web appication where HTTP header information is passed to the Data Reationship Management server for authentication. Orace Access Manager Orace Access Manager (OAM) provides authentication and authorization for the Data Reationship Management Web appication. In this documentation, it is assumed that OAM has been instaed and configured with access poicies for the Data Reationship Management Web appication. For more information, see Configuring the Access System and Protecting Resources in the OAM Access Administration Guide. Data Reationship Management can be configured with Orace Access Manager using one of the foowing options: Insta and configure Orace Access Manager 10g Webgate for IIS on the Data Reationship Management Web server Set up Orace HTTP Server for oad baancing the Data Reationship Management Web server and insta Orace Access Manager 11g Webgate for OHS The WebGate modue intercepts HTTP requests for Web content on the web server and forwards the requests to Orace Access Manager. For the Orace Access Manager 10g Webgate for IIS downoad, see the Readme fie for Orace Access Manager 10g non OHS 11g Webgates and 3rd Party Integrations at The foowing graphic depicts the process fow with Orace Access Manager using the 10g Webgate for IIS on the Data Reationship Management Web server: 43
