3 1 Overview wepresent SharePod is a unique pairing soution to wireessy connect an HDMI source to a wepresent device, enabing seamess coaboration in meetings and cassrooms. Connecting an HDMI cabe to the SharePod aows fu mirroring of audio and video from supported HDMI sources to a dispay or projector, without any software instaation or other configuration required. Furthermore, you can utiize the advance features on the wepresent device such as the 4-to-1 projection, Annotation, WebSides and Conference Contro for better meeting room or cassroom coaboration. Power Jack 5V/1.2A Hardware reset to factory defaut settings. 4 What 5 wepresent You Need wepresent WiPG device Projector or dispay with VGA or HDMI interface HDMI source such as Document Camera, Digita Microscope, Laptop, or DVD Payer. Micro USB cabe, HDMI Cabe SharePod pairing 5.1 Auto Pairing Pug in the micro USB cabe from SharePod to the wepresent device, and pairing wi begin automaticay. The SharePod LED wi show a ong fashing red ight whie pairing is in process. Pease wait unti you can see the Pairing successfu message on the wepresent start screen, and then remove the USB cabe to compete the pairing. Note: a. Supports wepresent WiPG-1000, WiPG-1600, and WiPG b. Ensure the wepresent device firmware is updated to the atest version. c. Average pairing time is 20 seconds. 5

6 5.2 Manua pairing Pug in the micro USB cabe from SharePod to aptop and aunch the configuration too from the USB storage, and then begin configuring the pairing information manuay as beow. Receiver IP Address: the IP address of target wepresent device Login Code: the ogin code of target wepresent device WiFi Name:the WiFi name of target WiFi Access Point device Security Type:WiFi Security type, such as WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK Key:Security key of target WiFi device MirrorOp Sender Sender Name:The name of SharePod device Image Quaity:High / Norma <Save> <Cance> <Go to Device Admin>: Go to SharePod web admin page. 6

7 6 wepresent SharePod Mirroring 6.1 SharePod Mirroring 1) After powering on the SharePod, it wi then connect to the target wepresent device. The short binking bue LED indicates the system is trying to connect to target wepresent device. It wi switch to static bue LED when it is connected. 2) Pug in the HDMI cabe to the supported HDMI source, and mirroring wi begin automaticay if the wepresent device is in standby mode, or you can press the PLAY button to manuay begin mirroring. The bue LED indicates that the system is ready for mirroring and it wi switch to red LED when mirroring. Note: a. Pease pair the SharePod with target wepresent device before the connection. b. Pease use the power adaptor to suppy the power to SharePod device. c. Supports HDMI 720p, 1080i/1080p. d. Does not support HDCP content. e. If interference causes the SharePod to stop the connection to the wepresent, pease press the button again to resume the connection. 7

8 6.2 Advanced Coaboration with wepresent 1) Conference Contro: Choose the SharePod screen from wepresent Web Conference Contro page or OSD to start the fu screen/4-to-1 projection. The meeting host or teacher can moderate the meeting in an efficient way. If SharePod is rejected by Conference Contro mode whie pressing the Pay button, the LED wi switch to short binking red LED to notify the user. 2) 4-to-1 projection: Choose the SharePod screen from wepresent Web Conference Contro page or OSD to start the 4-to-1 projection. 3) WebSides: Broadcast and browse the SharePod screen from WebSides page. This aso aows saving a screenshot ocay. 4) Annotation: Make annotation on SharePod screen from wepresent pen menu (if avaiabe) and save the screenshot to oca USB drive. 7 Web Admin 7.1 Login Admin Page 1) Connect the SharePod to the same network of your aptop, then open a browser window to visit the SharePod web admin page. Note: To access the SharePod web admin page, pease connect SharePod to office network, attach the USB cabe from SharePod to your aptop, and open the configure too. 2) Enter the password to ogin the admin page. (defaut password: admin) 8

9 7.2 System Status 1) Cick on System Status option, it wi show current system status. Mode Name: Product mode name Versions: Firmware version no.: Product firmware version number. Network Status: IP address:ip address of SharePod device. Subnet Mask:subnet mask Defaut Gateway:defaut gateway Wireess MAC address:wireess MAC address Wire MAC address:wire MAC address WiFi Information: WiFi Station Status:Current status or the connected WiFi AP name. 9

10 7.3 Device Setup 1) Cick on Device Setup option, it wi show the device setting items. <Receiver IP Address>: The IP address of target wepresent device. <Login Code>: The ogin code of target wepresent device. <Sender Name>: The name of the connected SharePod <Image Quaity>: Norma / High. 10

11 7.4 Network Setup 1) Cick on Network Setup option, it wi show the network setting items. < IP Setup> You can seect obtain IP address automaticay or Use the foowing IP address to manuay enter the IP address. The defaut setting is as foows: IP Address: Subnet Mask: Defaut Gateway: DNS Server: WiFi Setup Wireess LAN: The defaut setting is Enabe Connect to Existing AP: Press the Scan button to scan a avaiabe AP devices, and then seect the WiFi AP that you want to connect to. Encryption: Seect Disabe or one of WEP/WPA PSK/WPA2 PSK Key: If Encryption is enabed, you have to enter a key according to the encryption mode you seected. (If the ength of the key entered is not sufficient or too ong, a warning message wi appear.) Note: The Encryption and Key information must be consistent to the exiting AP configuration. 11

12 Note: 1. The WiFi 5G DFS band is not supported. 7.6 Change Passwords 1) Cick on Change Password option, you can change the password setting for Admin. <Enter New Password> (Length: up to 8 characters) <Confirm New Password> <Appy>: Confirm and Save modifications. 12

13 7.7 Reset to Defaut 1) Cick on Reset to Defaut option to restore factory defaut settings. <Appy>: Confirm and take action. *** You can aso restore factory defaut setting from SharePod box reset button. You can find the reset button underneath the box. Pease foow beow procedures. 1. Press [Reset] button and Hod. 2. Turn on wepresent SharePod box. 3. Press more than 10 seconds and reease [Reset] button. 4. Factory settings wi then be restored. 7.8 Firmware Upgrade 1) <Firmware Version> <Reease Date> Shows the current firmware on the SharePod. 2) <Check for Update> Check the atest firmware avaiabe on the server. 3) Firmware Upgrade 1. First, downoad the most recent firmware version avaiabe to your oca drive. 2. Cick <Browse> to specify firmware fie you want to upgrade to. 3. Cick <Upgrade> to start. 4. A warning message and count down counter wi appear on the screen. 5. After a few minutes, a compete message wi show on the screen. 6. Restart wepresent SharePod to take effect. 13

14 Warning: Do not power off wepresent SharePod whie firmware upgrade in progress, otherwise your SharePod wi be damaged and must be returned to the vendor for service and repair. 14

15 7.9 Reboot System Cick on Reboot System option to restart the SharePod. Cick on <Reboot >button: reboot system automaticay Logout 1) Cick on ogout on the upper right corner to ogout of the administration webpage and return back to the web management home page. 15
