3 TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FABIRCATING, SUPPLYING AND ERECTION OF SIGN BOARDS FOR DEPARTMENT OF KSFC IN BANGALORE AND BRANCH OFFICES AT ALL DISTRICT HEAD QUARTERS OF KARNATAKA STATE The details of specifications of the above and terms & conditions are given below: 1. SPECIFICATIONS: Description Specifications Quantity Rate/ sq.ft in Rs. TYPE-I SIGN CABINET - MS Square pipe of 1 cross section & 18 gauge thickness & MS square pipes along with 1 cross section gauge thickness as stiffeners. Painted with one coat of antirust paint and 2 coats of white enamel spray paint - The box frame has to be covered from top bottom, with 24 gauge & back side covered with spray painting, 20 gauge thick of GI 33 Nos. (32 branches and One in Rs. Per sq.ft + Applicable taxes if any sheets Fascia -Premium quality backlit flex with Head Office) (Inclusive of transportation, installation & translucent calendared colored vinyl as per maintenance) your color of design plotted to required designs Electrical & Accessories 1. One tube light for every 4 sq.ft along the length of the sign 2. Use tube light Philips/Wipro/Bajaj/Crompton 3. Using overlap between 2 tube lights 75mm to prevent dark bands 4. ISI mark insulated wires to be used 5 Auto timer(lg/wipro) TYPE II REFLECIVE SIGN BOARD 3 inch Dia Round Pipe (10 feet height) Earth Work Cement concrete Fascia 1 inch Square Tube (16 gauge HR Pipe) 20 gauge GI sheet Reflective (3M, Ivory, LG) Film 33 Nos. (32 branches and One in Head Office) Rs. Per sq.ft + Applicable taxes if any (Inclusive of transportation, installation & maintenance) TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. Specimen copies of the above signboards are available at BD&CR Department and may be thoroughly viewed before submitting tenders. 2. The bidders shall quote for either one of the Types or both Type I and Type II Signboards separately.( Preferably for both types) 3. Rate quoted should be inclusive of all costs of all materials, men, machines, transportation, installation, maintenance etc. 4. The sign boards shall be installed and maintained at 33 different places. The addresses of 33 places may be collected from Manager (Administration). 5. The Corporation reserves the right to decide upon anyone Type of sign board to be installed.

4 2. ABOUT THE SERVICE PROVIDER: (a) Shall have not less than three years of expe rience in similar line. A proof/sample in this regard shall be enclosed with the tender. (b) A brief write-up containing the details of profile of the unit/promoters, year of establishment, number of years of experience in fabricating, supplying and installing of sign boards and other related details shall be submitted. (c) List of major clients shall be enclosed with the tender. (d) Tenders without details as above are liable to be rejected. 3. OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS: (a) The printing matter for sign boards shall be collected from BD&CR Department. (b) The Corporation reserves the right to negotiate the rate quoted with L1. (c) The selection of the tenders will be at the sole discretion of the Corporation. (d) The Corporation reserves the right to accept/reject the tenders received without assigning any reason thereof and call for tender once again afresh if need be. (e) Penalty to the extent of Rs.10,000/- will be levied and the supplier will be blacklisted in case; (i) (ii) There is any delay in submission of the proof of sign boards within the stipulated time as may be specified from time to time ; and Besides, the Corporation reserves the right to cancel the contract forthwith without any reasons & if the situation demands, entrust the work to alternate printers. (f) At the time of opening tenders, the service provider or his representative (responsible person who can take decisions) shall be present without fail. The details of venue and time will be communicated separately by Administration Dept. (g) The quote along with enclosures and EMD shall be submitted in sealed cover super scribed with Tender for Fabricating and supplying of Signboards to The Manager (Administration). 4. TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR TENDERERS BELONGING TO SC/ST/OBC/MINORITIES: As per the Government Order No.SWD 34 BCA 2004, dt , if the purchase is below Rs.1.00 lakh, it will be exempted from the provisions of the KTTP Act. 1999, and 50% of preference will be given to vendors/contractors/ services providers belonging to SC/ST/OBCs and Minorities. The preference to be given for each of the categories is as under: a. Scheduled Castes - 20% b. Scheduled Tribes - 5% c. Other Backward Classes - 20% d. Minorities - 5% While implementing the above mentioned reservations, the following instructions shall be followed: (a) The supplier/contractor/service providers belonging to the Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes / Minorities Category should be ascertained by the certificate issued by the Revenue Authorities. He should be either owner / partner of the business in case of supplies and should be one of the categories as above to claim reservation in the procurement. (b) (c) (d) The procuring entities (Officers of the Departments Organisations under the Government making purchases, entrusting works of contracts) should ensure that the supplier/contractor a genuine supplier/contractor duly verifying the documents regarding registration with the Sales Tax Authorities, Public Works Department, Commerce and Industries Department, as the case may be and also his existence in the business in the last few years. The enquiries for quotations for procurement should be called for sealed quotation and should clearly indicate the purchase preference as specified in the Government Order. 50% of the procurement should be on the basis of lowest rates (L1) as per the quotation to the enquiry.

5 (e) (f) (g) The balance 50% should be from the suppliers/contractors belonging to the reserved category basis on the L1 rates as above. If the L1 within the reserved category does not agree to provide the goods and services as per the L1 rates on the whole Tender then the L2,L3,L4 amongst the reserved category should be considered for preference in procurement in that order. If there is no reserved category Supplier/Contractor the balance should be given to the unreserved as per the lowest rate. 5. EMD: Interest free EMD of Rs.10,000/- by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of KSFC, shall be enclosed with the tender. 6. QUOTE & RELATED POINTS: (a) Quote shall be inclusive of all applicable GST taxes, levies, etc. (b) The tenderer with aggregate lowest quote for entire work will be considered as L1. 7.
