3 Administratin The Administratin Tab will nly exist if yu are the system administratr. Please see the Administratin Guide fr details. Engine Statistics Statistics frm the systems engine include, Cached Classifier Cunt, Cached Tkenizer Cunt, Classifier Delete, Classifier List, Classifier Lad, Classifier Publish, Classifier Subscribe, Classifier Subscribed List, Lcked User Cunt, Message Recrded Clues, Message Scre, Message Scre Bytes, Message Scre Tkens, Open File Cunt, Server Inf and Server Lgin. 3

4 Message Statistics Statistics frm the systems messages include, Average Bdy Length, Maximum Bdy Length, Bdy Length Std. Dev., Message Cunt, Sum f Bdy Lengths, First Message Handled, and Last Message Handled. Mailbx Referees Mailbx Referee: The Referee is the service that scres the fr each f the types f mail yu may want sent t reprts r thse yu may want watched. I.E. Harassment r SSN s 4

5 Edit Referee: The Mailbx pll interval is the interval between each pull frm the POP Mailbx. Default is 10 secnds. Adding a new Referee: Once a mail bx is set up in the Mailbx drplet, g t the referee and set up a mailbx. Each Mailbx must have a referee attached t it. 5

6 Mailbxes Mailbxes: These are the mailbxes set up by the user and delineated in the cnfiguratin sheet. There must be an Active Mailbx fr the appliance. Adding a new Mailbx: This Drplet is t add any additinal mailbxes beynd the mailbx delineated in the cnfiguratin sheet. 6

7 Lg Tail Lg Tail: A lg generated by the system. It can be used t determine if a mailbx is wrking crrectly, including any f the assciated services like Reader, Referee etc. Appliance Service Cntrl Actr-Cnnects t an SMTP server fr sending alerts and frwarding mail Archiver-Allws messages t be archived t ff the bx strage Backup-Wrks with Archiver t mve messages t strage Database-Keeps track f all the messages and their respective pieces fr retrieval Digester-Pulls ld mail inserted frm.eml files 7

9 Update Appliance Update Appliance: This shws any updates t the appliance psed by the engineering team. Ftprints Ftprints: This is a recrd f wh has lgged int the appliance and what they did. 9

10 Lgged in Users Lgged n users: This display shws a list f all users lgged nt the system. Users Users: This display shws all f the users registered t the system. Including their names, addresses, rles, when they were added t the system and the last time they lgged int the system. There is als Deleting, Editing and Adding functins described belw, as well as a list exprt. 10

Guest: Guests can lg n but have n privilege Admin: Can Administer the bx frm the webui r adminara but has n rt access Open Users: This functin allws the system admin t exprt a list f all users with their functins and credentials. 11

The exceptin t this is Legal Hlds. Any message n a Legal Hld will be retained until the hld is lifted and nt subjected t retentin settings. 16

17 Retentin in days since message sent: Defines the retentin fr sent messages Maximum messages retained: Rather than using time frames yu can set the system t delete messages nce a defined number f messages are in the system. If yu have regulatry requirements, it s nt advisable t use this setting since mst regulatry and cmpliance requirements are in years, such as a 3 year retentin schedule. Retentin in days since message received: Defines the retentin fr received messages Search Limits: This sectin allws yu t set the number f messages retrieved in a search, the maximum displayed and the default number f days t search n. Maximum number f search results: Defines the maximum number f results fr any search. Maximum number f displayed search results: Defines the maximum number f results t display. Default number f days t search: Defines the default number f days t search n. This can be adjusted fr any search. Nte: See users guide fr best practice tips befre adjusting these entries. 17
