LED flashes (1X) once = DATA MODE LED flashes (2X) twice = STANDARD HARDWIRE MODE 2 Press and hold programming button until LED turns solid GREEN to register selection. After registration, follow Factory Reset Procedure to change installation mode and restart this procedure. TYPE 1 - MODULE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE - 1 OF 2 NOTE I To complete this procedure, both OEM keys are required. 6 Insert key 2 into ignition. 1 Insert key 1 into ignition. 7 8 Turn key 2 to position. Wait, LED will turn solid RED then will turn. 2 Turn key 1 to position. If the module s LED begins to flash RED, verify the RX and TX connections between the module and the vehicle. È TIME RESTRICTIºN COMING UP 3 Wait, LED will turn solid RED then will turn. 9 Turn key 2 to position. If the module s LED turns solid GREEN for 2 seconds, the Module Programming Procedure is completed. 10 TIME RESTRICTIºN Complete steps 10 to 13 within 5 SECDS. 11 Remove key 2. Press and release programming button. 4 Turn key 1 to position. 12 Insert key 2 into ignition. 5 Remove key 1. È IMPORTANT: READ NEXT PAGE

DISCNECT black 4-PIN standard or optional data connector. 5 6 LED will turn solid red for 2 seconds. RESET COMPLETED. RECNECT all connectors. 3 PRESS AND HOLD programming button while connecting either 4-PIN standard or optional data connector. 7 Repeat programming procedure. Failure to follow procedure may result with a DTC or a CHECK ENGINE error message. 4 When LED flashes red, RELEASE programming button.
