The PC shuld als be installed with the Micrsft Visual C Redistributable (x86) package. Fllw the fllwing steps t install it:- 1. G t 2. Click Dwnlad buttn 3. Check the vcredist_x86.exe and click Next. 4. After dwnlad cmpletes, run vcredist_x86.exe t install the package Install FT602 WinUSB driver: 1. Run FT602WinUSBInstallatin.exe 2. Click Extract buttn 3. Check License Agreement and click Next 4. Click Finish buttn when the driver installatin is cmpleted. Main Buttns Descriptin Write Cnfiguratin The fields frm the UI will be selected as a new cnfiguratin and written t the device. This ptin allws the user t read a cnfiguratin frm a file and ppulate the UI fields. Later if the user wishes t write this t the device, a write cnfiguratin can be dne. This will be changed autmatically as and when the number f channels cnfigured has been changed. Channel Cnfiguratin 4 Channels One channel is ne UVC interface. When 4 channels are selected, there will be 4 UVC interfaces. FIFO Buffer 4K (Per Channel) Ttal size f the FIFO buffer is 16K. As 4 Channels are selected in default cnfiguratin the default FIFO buffer per channel is 4K. This ptin is available in the channels page. Burst Buffer I2C Speed 4K (Per Channel) 1MHZ Max Burst is 16K. Hence the default is 4K per channel as 4 channels are selected by default. This ptin is available in the channels page. Supprts 1MHz, 400KHz and 100KHz. 1MHz is the default. I2C Address 0x0D I2C address Interrupt Enabled. Set Enables an interrupt. 9 Minimum latency is 2**(bInterval-1) USB frames. Interrupt Latency (binterval) Default value f 9, will give a latency f 2**(9-1) USB frames. That is 256 frames. As 1 frame is 125us, this gives a latency f 32ms. binterval can be mdified t reduce r increase this latency. Minimum value is 1 and the max is 16. Table 2 User Cnfigurable Cmmn Cnfiguratin - Descriptins Nte: When calculating the maximum string length f a string descriptr the fllwing rules must be applied: Each string descriptr requires a 2 byte header therefre f the maximum 128 bytes there is 128-6=122 bytes available. As the data is sent in Unicde, this then divides dwn t 122/2=61 bytes. Additinal restrictins are als applied: Max size fr SerialNumber is 16 characters Max size fr Descriptin is 32 characters Max size fr Manufacturer is =13 characters when Descriptin and SerialNumber are maxed ut. NOTE: Whenever there is a change in buffer size, the ttal buffer size must be 16K. Otherwise the tl wn t let the user prgram the cnfiguratin changes. When the Read ptin is set, then all the GET cntrl cmmands mentined in the sectin f the specificatin is supprted. Similarly when the Write ptin is set, SET cmmand is supprted. When the Read ptin is set, then all the GET cntrl cmmands mentined in the sectin f the specificatin is supprted. Similarly when the Write ptin is set, SET cmmand is supprted. Cntrls Descriptin Refer t Sectin Expsure Time (Abslute) Cntrl f UVC 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Expsure Time (Abslute) The Expsure Time (Abslute) Cntrl is used t specify the length f expsure. This value is expressed in 100µs units, where 1 is 1/10,000th f a secnd, 10,000 is 1 secnd, and 100,000 are 10 secnds. A value f zer (0) is undefined. Nte that the manual expsure cntrl is further limited by the frame interval, which always has higher precedence. If the frame interval is changed t a value belw the current value f the Expsure Cntrl, the Expsure Cntrl value will autmatically be changed. The default Expsure Cntrl value will be the current frame interval until an explicit expsure value is chsen The setting fr the attribute f the addressed Expsure Time (Abslute) Cntrl: 0: Reserved 1: sec : 10 sec Refer t sectin Fcus (Abslute) Cntrl f UVC 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. This value is expressed in units f f stp * 100. The default value is implementatin-specific. The Backlight Cmpensatin Cntrl is used t specify the backlight cmpensatin. A value f zer indicates that the backlight cmpensatin is disabled. A nnzer value indicates that the backlight cmpensatin is enabled. The device may supprt a range f values, r simply a binary switch. If a range is supprted, a lw number indicates the least amunt f backlight cmpensatin. The default value is implementatinspecific, but enabling backlight cmpensatin is recmmended. Refer t sectin Brightness Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Brightness This is used t specify the brightness. This is a relative value where increasing values indicate increasing brightness. The MIN and MAX values are sufficient t imply the reslutin, s the RES value must always be 1. The MIN, MAX and default values are implementatin dependent. Refer t sectin Cntrast Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Cntrast This is used t specify the cntrast value. This is a relative value where increasing values indicate increasing cntrast. The MIN and MAX values are sufficient t imply the reslutin, s the RES value must always be 1. The MIN, MAX and default values are implementatin dependent. Refer t sectin Gain Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Gain This is used t specify the gain setting. This is a relative value where increasing values indicate increasing gain. The MIN and MAX values are sufficient t imply the reslutin, s the RES value must always be 1. The MIN, MAX and default values are implementatin dependent. Refer t sectin Hue Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Hue This is used t specify the hue setting. The value f the hue setting is expressed in degrees multiplied by 100. The required range must be a subset f t (-180 t +180 degrees). The default value must be zer. Refer t sectin Saturatin Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Saturatin This is used t specify the saturatin setting. This is a relative value where increasing values indicate increasing saturatin. A Saturatin value f 0 indicates grayscale. This is a relative value where increasing values indicate increasing sharpness, and the MIN value always implies "n sharpness prcessing", where the device will nt prcess the vide image t sharpen edges. The MIN and MAX values are sufficient t imply the reslutin, s the RES value must always be 1. The MIN, MAX and default values are implementatin-dependent Refer t sectin Gamma Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Gamma This is used t specify the gamma setting. The value f the gamma setting is expressed in gamma multiplied by 100. The required range must be a subset f 1 t 500, and the default values are typically 100 (gamma = 1) r 220 (gamma = 2.2). Refer t the sectin White Balance Temperature Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. White Balance Temperature This is used t specify the white balance setting as a clr temperature in degrees Kelvin. This is ffered as an alternative t the White Balance Cmpnent cntrl. Minimum range shuld be 2800 (incandescent) t 6500 (daylight) fr webcams and dual-mde cameras. The supprted range and default value fr white balance temperature is implementatin-dependent. Refer t sectin White Balance Cmpnent Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. White Balance Blue The setting fr the blue cmpnent f the addressed White Balance Cmpnent cntrl. Digital Multiplier Step This is used t specify the amunt f Digital Zm applied t the ptical image. This is the psitin within the range f pssible values f multiplier m, allwing the multiplier reslutin t be described by the device implementatin. The MIN and MAX values are sufficient t imply the reslutin, s the RES value must always be 1. The MIN, MAX and default values are implementatin dependent. If the Digital Multiplier Limit Cntrl is supprted, the MIN and MAX values shall match the MIN and MAX values f the Digital Multiplier Cntrl. Refer t sectin Digital Multiplier Limit Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Digital Multiplier Limit This is used t specify an upper limit fr the amunt f Digital Zm applied t the ptical image. This is the maximum psitin within the range f pssible values f multiplier m. The MIN and MAX values are sufficient t imply the reslutin, s the RES value must always be 1. The MIN, MAX and default values are implementatin dependent. A value specifying the upper bund fr Z cur (see sectin "Digital Zm" f UVC spec 1.1.) Refer t the sectin Pwer Line Frequency Cntrl f the UVC spec 1.1 fr mre infrmatin. Pwer Line Frequency This cntrl allws the hst sftware t specify the lcal pwer line frequency, in rder fr the device t prperly implement anti-flicker prcessing, if supprted. The default is implementatin-specific.
