Click the Connect button in the RemoteApp window. In order to use the application to its full potential, make sure the following options are checked: Drives, Clipboard and Printers. 5. In the login window, enter the username and password provided by your pilot and then click OK. Your username must always be preceded by \. For example, if your username is Guest you must type in \Guest. 6. You are now in : - Select the database corresponding to your site from the dropdown menu. - Select your username in the dropdown menu. - Enter your password. 4 TECHNICAL SUPPORT 1. Change password Once logged into your account, click change password located at the top of the screen. You must then enter a new password complying with the password policy. Once your password is changed, you will be redirected to the login page where you will have to type in your new credentials to access your account. 2. Technical requirements The minimum system requirements to connect to Web server are: - Windows XP SP3 - Internet Explorer 6 - Windows Remote Desktop with RDP Protocol 6.1 If you are experiencing any problems, contact your institution s IT department. 3. I am prompted to run the Remote Desktop Services ActiveX Client control - Windows XP or Windows Server 2003: Click Run ActiveX Control, and then click Run. After you have enabled the control, refresh the Web page. - Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 or Windows 8: Click the warning message on the Internet Explorer Information Bar, select Add-on Disabled, and then click Run ActiveX control. The web page should refresh itself and you should no longer see any warnings. With Internet Explorer, you can enable the ActiveX control by clicking Tools on the browser tool bar and then select Manage Add-ons. Make sure that Remote Desktop Service or Terminal services Client Control are enabled. 4. The add-on required seems installed, but Internet Explorer tells me it cannot be used - In Windows XP, make sure you have the latest version of Remote Desktop for Windows XP installed. - Make sure that Internet Explorer settings allow the use of ActiveX. Go to Tools / Internet options / Security», the level should be at Medium-high. - With Internet Explorer 9 or higher, make sure you have the ActiveX Filtering option unchecked. This option is located under Tools / Safety / ActiveX Filtering. - Contact technical support at Food services Clinical Nutrition p. 4 of 5
