Often the output and therefore the productivity in existing processes is not optimal, as the portion of non-productive times is too high. Non-productive times occur during the tool change necessary due to tool wear, however above all on re-tooling for different parts in variant production and small-scale series production. The process can be specifically optimised in these cases using the conversion systems to HSK-T, as due to the high accuracy on changing the tools, times for setting up or breaking-in are practically not required. Using the conversion systems almost all existing CNC machines can be converted easily, safely and cost-effectively to HSK-T by means of conversion adapters. Only information on the machine manufacturer, machine type and revolver type is required for the technical design of the necessary conversion adapters. All other technical data are known.
