For example, he daa key les you read ou a program from a digial ime swich, copy i o a PC, where i can be saved and edied or simply ransfer i o anoher ime swich. I goes wihou saying ha you can work wih several daa keys and i will only ake seconds o change programs. A safey copy ensures fas service. So if a ime swich has been inerfered wih, you can simply use he daa key o ransfer he sored program back o he ime swich. Thanks o he sandard operaor inerface, based on MS-Office, here is no need for laborious program raining. Pulse funcion for 1-channel devices: Wih he pulse funcion, up o 84 sar imes and a pulse ime can be programmed ono he ime swich. The pulse duraion can be seleced beween 1 s and 5 min 5 s. Random funcion: If he random funcion is acivaed, he se swiching imes are shifed wihin a range of +/- 30 min. Operaing hours meer: For commercial fields of applicaion in paricular, i is ofen necessary o esablish he running ime of he swiched load, e.g. lighing. The operaing hours meer shows he oal ON ime per channel and he dae of he las rese. Vacaion period funcion: In he vacaion program, he vacaion period are se wih sar and end dae. If he vacaion program is acivaed, he digial ime swich does no carry ou any programmed swiching commands during he relaive period bu, depending on he respecive inpu, is se o "CONTINUOUSLY OFF" or "CONTINUOUSLY ON" during he vacaion period. A he end of he specified vacaion period, he digial ime swich auomaically resumes execuion of he swiching commands according o he programmed swiching imes. Conrol inpu: 7LF4 digial ime swiches The delay ime ha can be adjused in he conrol inpu enables an addiional swiching of he relay, parallel o he swiching program. Adjusable delay ime 0 min h 5 min, he delay ime begins as soon as he volage drops a he conrol inpu. 1h-es: The "1H TEST" funcion can be used for simulaing swiching. If "1H TEST" is acivaed, he swiching oupus are swiched for one hour. PIN code: Inpu and programming can be disabled using a four-digi PIN code. Week programs: Programs ha are designed o be repeaed regularly every week, e.g. ligh conrol, heaing conrol. A week program comprises an ON/OFF ime and assigned ON/OFF days. Year programs: Programs ha are only o be execued wihin a defined period of validiy. They overlap wih he week programs of he same channel according o an OR operaion. The period of validiy is specified by enering he sar/end dae. Validiy from sar dae 00:00:00 o end dae 24:00:00. The sar dae mus be prior o he end dae. Wihin heir period of validiy, hese programs ac as week programs. Ouside heir period of validiy, hese programs have no influence on he swiching behavior. Excepion programs: Have a higher prioriy as week and year programs. Week and year programs of he same channel will no be execued wihin he period of validiy of an excepion program, however, wihin he period of validiy oher excepion programs will be execued. The differen excepion programs overlap according o an OR operaion. Cycle funcion: On he year ime swich, channel 1 has an addiional opion for "cyclic swiching". The erm "cyclic swiching" means ha wihin a specific period, he ime swich is swiched on for a specific duraion (ON ime). The cycle ime can be beween 2 seconds and 2 hours. These ime swiches self-adjus during commissioning in fas mode o he correc ime and correc day wihin he Cenral European ime zone. They also auomaically se he correc ime for dayligh saving. A furher advanage is he quarz-precise adjusmen of he correc ime and he correc day as soon as he supply volage is reconneced afer a power failure. Precision quarz mechanism Clock accuracy: he inernal precision clockwork has an accuracy of ± 1 min. per year. Swiching of energy-saving lamps The swiching of energy-saving lamps has provoked heaed discussions. Energy-saving lamps require a cerain ime before hey produce heir full ligh oupu. The characerisic of he elecronics is no ideal for flashing operaion. They do no dim.
