Operatioal Descriptio The operatioal descriptio shall fulfil the requiremets of Rule Part (b)(4). If you use a adaptor other tha the power supply adaptor provided i our package, the product may ot operate properly. ` It will take about 1mi for the camera to boot-up completely. ` Whe the boot-up is complete, the power LED color will chage from red to blue. Coectig the Ferrite Core to the power supply adaptor Ferrite Core ca stabilize the power supply. 1. Ope the Ferrite Core icluded i the package. NETWORK 2. As show i the figure, place the ferrite core about 10 cm away from the warig tag of your adaptor ad roll it up to show the two lies of power supply outside. The close the ferrite core. 8 Istallatio 02 INSTALLATION & NETWORK CONNECTION Precautios 1. Istall the camera i a place where the Wi-Fi sigal ca be reached ad without iterferece. 2. Keep it away from humidity such as aroud the humidifier. 3. Keep it away from direct sulight, strog light or dust; istall it i a place with clear view. 4. Do ot istall it i a place where there are a lot of obstacles. 5. Keep the les clea at all times. Wipe off the dust with a soft cloth. While pullig the butto i the back of the bracket, press the bottom of the opposite side of the butto to remove the bracket wall. 10 4. Firmly isert the bracket from the opposite side of the butto util you hear a clickig soud. Adjustig the Agle 1. Adjust the camera s shootig agle as appropriate. 5. Use drill bit of 5mm diameter ad drill o the marked positios, drill to have 3 cm depth holes. Clea the holes after drillig. J ` Be careful ot to get ijured while drillig. Assemblig 1. Take out screws (M3xL20), ad achors (Φ5x25mm). 2. O a woode wall, use screws to fix the wall-mout bracket as show i the figure. Usig a driver o the wall to attach it to, faste three screws i the three holes. 3. If fixig o a cocrete wall, use screws ad achors to fix wall-mout bracket. First, mark o the wall as show i the figure below. 5. Isert a achor for each hole. Fully isert achors by hammerig lightly the achor head with a hammer/rubber hammer. 6. Coect the adaptor s plug to the power termial o the camera s rear side. Network Coectio ad Settigs Precautios The wireless etwork access may fail, depedig o the commuicatios eviromet. For details about the etwork settigs ad password, cotact your etwork admiistrator or service provider. For a specific Iteret service requirig user autheticatio, you may ot access the service. If this is the case, cotact the service provider. Do ot access the uauthorized etwork. The farther the distace from the Wireless Access Poit, the loger time the etwork coectio may take. If you fail to access the selected wireless etwork, try a differet Wireless Access Poit to make access. For more iformatio about the router or the wireless coectio, refer to the documetatio of the router or cotact the router maufacturer. If the camera is coected to a multiple-wireless Access Poit etwork eviromet, some video packets may be lost, depedig o the etwork traffic load. Accordig to the etwork policy (blockig UDP) of the service provider, the video trasmissio ca be limited to 7 miutes. For more details, refer to the descriptios o page 21, <Relay Mode>. Whe you apply the power, the power status LED is lit red, ad it will chage to red blikig whe the bootig is completed. 2. Coect the etwork cable to the camera ad to the home router as show below. 3. The status LED will become steady blue oce the camera is coected to the router. (may take up to 30sec). If the status LED (blue) is ot lit, repeat steps 2 through the ed ad check it agai. 4. The status LED will became steady gree oce the camera is coected to server. OR <Hub> <Modem> Iteret Service ` It is recommeded to set the router to DHCP(Dyamic Host Cofiguratio Protocol) server. If you wat to use static IP address, please refer to <Wired Network> o page 23. ` If the router s UPP is ot set, the you might be coected i relay mode. The settigs may differ depedig o the coected Broadbad Router model. For more iformatio, refer to the user maual of the applicable router. If you wat to coect a camera to Wi-Fi, first coect the etwork cable ad try to make a coectio to the Wi-Fi etwork. 1. Use the etwork cable (LAN cable) to coect the LAN port of the uit to the LAN port of the Wireless Access Poit. 3. Register ad select the camera accordig to guide of 03. Moitorig. 4. ID : Usig alphabetical characters ad umbers, make a combiatio usig 8 to 14 letters. Password : To stregthe security, create a password with a combiatio of special characters, umerals ad Eglish letters. J ` Legth ad other restrictios of password. - A combiatio of Eglish letters/umerals: 10 digits or more - The password must ot be idetical to your ID. - No simple repetitive patter must be used. e.g., 1212abab,azxsazxs - You caot use 4 or more cosecutive letters. e.g., 1234, abcd - You caot use 4 or more cosecutive qwerty keyboard letters. e.g., asdf, You caot use ay letter 4 cosecutive times. e.g.,!!!!, 1111, aaaa Cofirm Password : Please eter the password agai for cofirmatio. Name : Eter the user ame. Please make sure you eter correct address as you will have to use the address to receive temporary ID/password whe you lost your user ID or password. 7. Select the serial umber of the camera to be added from the camera search list. If the camera is ot foud, eter the serial umber maually. 8. Click <Next>. ` Serial umber ca be foud the label o the side of the packagig or o the rear of the product. ` The computer ad the camera has to be o the same etwork router to auto detect the cameras Moitorig

18 9. Create <Camera Name> ad <Camera password>. 10. Click <Next>. 12. Select your Wireless Network from the list. 13. Eter the password of your Wireless Network ad click <Next>. ` The camera password is used to block the uauthorized access to your camera. ` Create camera password usig alphaumeric characters betwee 1 to 8 without ay space. 11. After addig the camera, click <Yes> i the wireless etwork setup pop-up widow. ` If your Wireless Network is hidde, select <Other Wi-Fi Networks (ot listed)>. ` Select <Display password> to display the password. 14. Select a camera from the camera list at the upper left had of the scree. 17. Oce the camera is successfully registered, you ca check the camera i the camera list. ` The gray ico idicates the camera is iactive so you caot moitor it right ow. 2. Maual recordig Network Speed A user ca directly save videos i their SD card. ` 30 miute log video is saved. ` If there is a ogoig evet ow or overwrite to SD card is ot checked, ad there is storage space of 10% remaiig, you caot perform maual recordig. Set the etwork speed (low/mid/high). ` If the badwidth provided by your iteret service provider is smaller tha the recommeded value, the the video might get fuzzy or temporary discoectios or delays i the live video may be caused. Capture Image Live video is saved as oe image. Soud Full scree Whe eabled, you ca hear what s happeig aroud the camera. ` Some iteret service providers do ot support audio outputs i relay mode. The video is displayed o the full scree. ` The system supports Iteret Explorer oly. ` If you double-click the scree, the full scree mode is termiated. m Brightess You ca adjust the brightess of the scree image. c Cacel rememberig camera password Night Visio Cacel rememberig the camera password. If Night Visio is set <ON>, it will automatically switch to black ad white mode i the dark coditio ad the the IR lamp will automatically operate. If Night Visio is set <OFF>, it does ot switch to ight visio mode ad it will operate i color mode. 20 Eglish

If you set the mic settig to '0', you will ot hear the live audio, ad it will ot be recorded i your SD card. Note that the Two-way audio trasfer fuctio is available oly with the smart phoe applicatio. Motio Zoe Settig 1) Click the < > ico. 2) Drag it to the scree to set the detectio area. Add a camera Click the [ ] ico to register a additioal camera. If the etwork coditio is ustable, the camera caot make a ormal coectio (P2P), so it will set up a coectio i relay mode. I this case, you will see the video for the first seve miutes oly. ` Relay mode is added feature where the video from the camera is trasmitted to Samsug server the retrasmitted to the user's computer. ` If you have trouble coectio to the camera, visit " com", go to support page, ad refer to "Troubleshootig" o it. ` It is recommeded to use oe browser at oe time. ` The Night Visio video produces a differet visibility accordig to the distace betwee camera ad subject. 3) Click o <OK>. If you wat to delete the set area, click o <Delete All>. ` The <Motio Detectio> fuctio eeds to be activated i order to use the motio zoe fuctio. ` Whe the motio detectio fuctio is activated, ay motio will be detected, eve if o motio zoe is set. ` You ca set up to 3 motio zoes. 03 Moitorig 21

Eter the curret camera password, ad type a ew Camera password. c Camera Name Click the <Modify>, you ca chage the camera ame. Firmware Versio You ca check the curret versio ad the latest versio of your camera S/W. Status LED You ca tur o/off the LED i your camera. ` The LED will illumiate whe the power supply is recoected. b c Flickerless Image ecryptig You ca reduce the occurrece of scree shakig due to the frequecy mismatches with the eighborig lightig. ` If you use the flickerless fuctio outdoors (i a bright eviromet), image saturatio may occur. This ecrypts the image trasmitted. ` The image ecryptio fuctio may affect the image trasmissio fuctio. ` If you chage the camera password, you will be logged out ad retur to the camera password iput page. ` Keep the camera password i a safe place as it is used for viewig the live scree of the camera or for chagig the display settigs. 22 Eglish

23 Firmware update If the curretly used S/W is ot of the latest versio, update it. If you are usig the latest versio, the the firmware will ot be activated. 1) Click <Firmware>. 36 Troubleshootig If you ecouter a problem with your system, see the table below to solve the problem as quickly ad easily as possible. Please follow the istructio below: Problem I forgot my user ID/ password. Camera is ot coected to the wireless hub. After logged i, I failed to register the camera. Actio - Move to "Log-i page Forgot your ID/Password?", ad eter the registered address to which we will sed you the user ID ad/or a ew password. It ca be spammed out depedig o the policy of the server. After logged i, it is advisable to chage the temporary password provided. - If the camera's wireless iteret idicatio LED goes off too ofte, the it meas that the camera istallatio locatio is ot optimal for the wireless iteret eviromet, so i this case, locate the camera close to the wireless hub ad try to coect agai. - Check the password for the wireless hub ad try agai. - Check that the serial umber etered matches the label o the back of the camera. - Eter the correct password for the camera registered agai ad try to register the camera agai. - Check the camera LED to see if it is gree. If ot, the check the etwork coectio. - If you are still uable to register the camera after this, the reset the camera to factory settigs ad begi agai. (If you wat to reset to factory settigs, press ad hold the iitialize butto o the back for 10 sec. Oce iitialized to factory settigs, the camera will be restarted.) Problem The capture images i the camera will ot be uploaded to Picasa. The video from the camera is temporarily lost. No soud is output from the video. I forgot my Camera password.
