As campus usage f the platfrm cntinues t grw, ppulating Banner student data int OrgSync nightly wuld prvide a better student and administratr experience. Benefits: OrgSync student infrmatin will be up t date and accurate (currently this infrmatin is self-reprted) New OU students will autmatically get imprted int OrgSync, allwing immediate card swipe access at events. Reprting in OrgSync will be imprved, as there will be mre data t use (Majr, Internatinal Student, etc.) User Stries As a new student, I want t be able t swipe int events n campus that are using OrgSync fr attendance withut having t setup my accunt and make changes. As a student, I dn't want t keep up with updating my infrmatin at multiple lcatins. As the Student Affairs Office, I wuld like t run reprts directly in OrgSync that give me accurate infrmatin abut the makeup f a specific student rganizatin, such as Area f Study, Year in Schl, etc. As the Student Life Office, I want the ppulatin in OrgSync t accurately reflect the fficial classificatin f students n campus. Delivery and Timeline Delivery Methd: This data is requested t be delivered thrugh an API. Timeline: T meet initial timelines fr the request, we need t cmplete the API by August 4th. Prject Executin: This prject submitted and currently in planning with the OU IT s Prject Management Office. ID# Prject Acceptance: This prject will be cmplete when an API with the requested data is made available fr cnsumptin. Any applicatin develpment utilizing that API will fall utside f the prject scpe.

3 Prcess Ntes Caveats and Data Quality Date: Per () Lcal mailing address wuld likely be ne f either the 1M mailing address r the 3U address if they are n campus. There isn t really an n/ff campus indicatr frm Banner yu can get an idea frm whether r nt they have an active 3U address, but that is imperfect. Perhaps frm StarRez? Permanent address can cntinue t be updated by the student and it might actually end up being their lcal mailing address. Fine t use that data pint, but just s flks understand the cncerns with using that fr any srt f fficial infrmatin.
