1 USER S GUIDE: SPRINT RELAY CUSTOMER PROFILE n Log-in Go to If yo don t have a sername or password, click the gray men btton Cstomer New Profile/Call Now Nmber Registration. Type login ID, password, retype password and secrity qestion/ answer. Then click Sbmit. If yo already have login ID and password, type both in and then click Log In. If yo forgot yor login ID or password, click Forgot Password. n Sprint Relay Cstomer Profile homepage After a sccessfl log-in, yo will see the Sprint Relay Cstomer Profile homepage. In the instrction gide on the page, yo can find ot how to create and pdate yor profile. If yo have qestions or need assistance, please call or send an to Sprint Relay Cstomer Service at Sprint.TRSCstServ@sprint.com. Cstomer Service Representatives are available to assist yo 24/7.

2 n Personal Information Type in yor name, address, city, state, zip code and address. Then click on Sbmit. Note: The address is reqired when registering for an IP Relay nmber. Yor address will be given to emergency services when yo place a 911 call throgh Sprint Relay (Sprint IP, Sprint IP Mobile, AOL Instant Messenger, Google Talk or Federal Relay IP). It is important to pdate yor address whenever yo move to a new address so emergency services can locate yo. n Addresses Yor address will be provided to emergecy services when yo make a 911 call throgh Sprint Relay. Important Note: Whenever yo move to a new address, click the Add Address btton to pdate yor new address where emergency services can locate yo. n Contact Nmbers/IP Relay Nmber Info On the State Service screen, type yor home nmber that is necessary to se Sprint Relay and then click the Add New Nmber btton. On the Sprint IP screen, click the yellow Sign Up btton and then follow the instrctions. This allows yo to register for yor free Sprint IP Relay Call Now 10-digit nmber to make and receive Internet relay calls.

3 n Contact Nmbers/IP Relay Nmber Info (cont.) On the Sprint Mobile IP screen yo will see an example of a completed registrationinclding two phone nmbers. The first nmber is yor cell phone nmber (or wireless device). The second phone nmber is yor Sprint Mobile IP nmber that allows yo to be able to make or receive relay calls throgh Sprint Mobile IP app. On the AOL Instant Messenger screen, there is an example of an incomplete registration. Click Sign Up and then follow the instrctions. The Sprint IP sing AIM nmber allows yo to be able to make or receive relay calls throgh AIM. On the Google Talk screen, there is an example of an incomplete registration. Click Sign Up and then follow the instrctions. The Sprint IP sing Google Talk nmber allows yo to make or receive relay calls throgh Google Talk. The Federal Relay screen is only for federal government employees who want to make and receive Internet calls throgh Federal Relay IP.

4 n Freqently Dialed Nmbers In the Freqently Dial Nmber, yo can store p to 30 names and nmbers. When yo want to make a call yo give the Relay Operator the name rather than typing the 10-digit nmber every time, Pls call Home GA Click Add New Nmber to type in names and phone nmbers. n Emergency Nmbers n Caller Preferences: Call Setp In most emergency sitations, yo shold dial first for emergency help. However, yor database can list additional emergency phone nmbers. Yo can choose p to 10 emergency contacts, sch as a police station, a fire department, a doctor, and the local/state poison control center. Click Add New Nmber to type in the emergency contacts and nmbers. Gender Preference: Yo can select the Relay Operator s gender to handle yor relay calls. Answer Type: Yo can specify how yo want to be connected to relay. Options inclde TTY, Trbo code, ASCII, Voice, VCO, HCO, Blind/Deaf ASCII, or Blind/Deaf TTY. Langage: Yo can choose English or Spanish. Redced Typing Speed: If selected, yo will receive slower typing from the Relay Operator. n Caller Preferences: Call Handling Call Handling offers six options that the relay ser can choose from to send alternate call handling instrctions to the Relay Operator. Check the box if yo do not want the Relay Operator to do the following: annonce relay explain relay service describe backgrond noises dring conversation; e.g., baby crying describe tone of voice; e.g., sonds angry atomatically type voice recordings remain on hold for a long time when the called party pts the relay ser on hold.

5 n Caller Preferences: Preferred Billing Options Payment Method: Yo can enter yor preferred billing method, inclding billed to phone nmber, calling cards, credit cards and third party billing. Payment Nmber: Yo can store yor calling card or other billing information in yor profile which will be atomatically sed when making long distance calls throgh relay. n Otdial Restrictions: Blocked Nmbers Yo can select p to 30 nmbers that yo do not want called from yor phone nmber (otgoing calls). Click the ble Add New Nmbers btton to type in phone nmbers that yo want blocked. n Otdial Restrictions: Type of Calls Yo can select any of the following that yo want blocked throgh relay: No long distance No 800 calls No 900 calls No 976 calls No directory assistance No international calls No marine calls No operator assistance. n Carrier of Choice: Carrier Selections Yo can select yor preferred carrier of choice for any calls throgh relay, sch as: Local-toll calls State-to-state long distance calls In-state long distance calls International calls.

6 n Carrier of Choice: Otdial Billing Restrictions Yo can select any of the following billing that yo want to block: No carrier of choice (all calls will be processed over the Sprint network) No collect calls No FON card / Sprint cards No LEC / local telephone calling company cards No optional other calling cards No third party n Notes n Notes: Examples n Speech-to-Speech Contacts Yo can select from a list of standard preferences or specify in free-form text how yo wold like the Relay Operator to handle yor call. This cold be anything from different call annoncements to instrctions on how to retrieve voice mail messages. Click Add a New Note to type in p to 60 characters per note. Then click Sbmit. For example Annonce my call saying, Hello. This is Jane calling. (annoncement instrctions) I se FD nmbers (information for the Relay Operator) Voice mail pin is 1234, delete all messages after typing. (voice mail retrieval instrctions) 50 WPM (call handling instrctions) This screen is specifically designated for Speech-to-Speech (STS) sers. With Sprint s system, persons calling STS sers who have difficlty sharing telephone nmbers can be atomatically connected to the STS ser at the STS ser s registered locations. For STS sers only: Select and enter a personal STS User ID and then click Add New Contact Time to enter the next screen see the next page.

7 n Speech-to-Speech Contacts For STS sers only: Type in the description of yor phone call and phone nmber yo want to connect to other callers. Enter yor day and hors of availability. Then click on Sbmit. n Temporary Speech-to-Speech Messages This allows STS sers to prepare a temporary short message before the Relay Operator dials the nmber. When reqested, the Relay Operator can retain this message in the STS ser s profile for p to 24 hors. This is especially helpfl when the line is bsy and the STS ser does not have to repeat the information on a call. n Print Form After yo finished adding/pdating yor information in the cstomer profile, yo can click the yellow Print Page btton to print yor profile.

8 n Change Password If yo want to change yor password, yo will need to enter yor crrent password, create a new password, and complete the secrity qestion/answer. Click Sbmit when yo are done. n Change Hosehold Password The hosehold password is sed by the person who is the head of the hose who can contact the relay operator to make changes to hosehold preferences on the accont. This password is not the same as the web accont password. n Log Off Click Log Off to exit yor cstomer profile.
